GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

To avoid hazards and unnecessary failures due to misuse, please read carefully all warnings and instructions included in the MI sheets and all labels.

  • Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance upon this equipment, pay attention to:Supply voltage input 120-347V, frequency 50/60 Hz.
  • This fixture is intended to be connected to a properly installed and grounded UL listed junction box.
  • Commercial installation, service and maintenance of luminaires should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
  • Residential installation, always consult a qualified licensed electrician and check your local electrical code if any uncertainty before operating.
  • Always check the product before installation.
  • DO NOT INSTALL DAMAGED PRODUCT!

WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK

  • Always turn off the power before you perform installation and maintenance.
  • Verify that supply voltage is correct for the specified voltage range of the luminaire shown on the label, i.e. 120-347V.
  • Make all electrical and grounded connections in accordance with the National Electrical Code and any applicable local code requirements.
  • All wiring connections must be capped with UL approved devices for this purpose.

CAUTION: RISK OF INJURY

  • Wear gloves and safety goggles at all times when removing luminaires from carton, installing, servicing or performing maintenance.
  • Avoid direct eye exposure to the illuminated light source.
  • Put aside small parts and dispose packing material properly, to prevent hazard to children.

CAUTION: RISK OF FIRE

  • Install and use only as intended according to UL, all applicable codes and regulations and these instructions.

CAUTION: Use weatherproof silicone sealant between the ceiling plate and mounting surface.

Illustrations in the manual are for installation purpose only. Installation may vary depending on the specific luminaire model.

GENERAL WIRING DIAGRAM

CAUTION: Turn off electrical power by fuse or circuit breaker box before wiring fixture to the power supply .

Surface-mounted with J-BOX

  1. Before starting ensure that the electrical power is disconnected.
Unpack fixture and ensure there is no damage.

  2. Install the connecting plate onto the ceiling or junction box (supplied by others) and pull the wire through center hole.

  3. Hang the fixture onto the connecting plate while connecting the power cable as the demo.

  4. Slide fixture back into the connecting plate and tighten the screw.

Pendent Installation with 3/4 inch conduit

  1. Feed incoming power leads through pendant stem (supplied by others).
  2. Hanging pipe connection must be rigid connection.
  3. Wiring according to the schematic.
  4. Screw pendant pipe up to the top of the device.
  5. Be sure to wrap Teflon tape or silicone gel to thread of pipe to prevent moisture from entering.
  6. Note: to ensure the protective performance of the product, the 1/2-14nps plug must be assembled with a torque of no less than 1.7N·m.
Reassemble the 1/2-14nps plug with a torque ≥1.7 N·m after CCT or FAO switching for ingress prevention.

Sensor Function

Initialization

Power on, the sensor automatically turns on light at 100% brightness. 10 seconds later, it turns off the light. During the initialization, the sensor is not able to detect movement.
The fixture is recommended that the installation height of the fixture<15m.

Operation Mode: Daylight Priority + 3-leveled dimming

3-leveled dimming function with Daylight priority

  • When Daylight is enough, >150 lux, motion sensing will be switched off automatically, the light will be always off.

  • With insufficient ambient light, <150 lux, motion sensing is activated automatically.

  • When motion is detected, the light turns on to 100%, after 5 min, if no motion is sensed, the light dims to 50% until motion is detected again.

    1. with sufficient ambient light, the light will not be switched on even if with motion signal.

    2. With insufficient ambient light, the sensor switches on the light when motion is detected.

    3. After elapse of hold time, the sensor dims the light at a low light level if no new motion is detected.

    4. After elapse of standby period, the sensor switches off the light if no1 motion is detected in the detection zone.

  • Default detection area setting:
    GC60-SCT-G2-SM-5-10-BZ: 100% . GC90-SCT-G2-SM-5-10-BZ: 75%.

Turning the Sensor Off:

  1. By Default, the Motion and Daylight sensor will be ON.
  2. To Switch OFF the Sensor, move FAO Switch position 3 to the bottom position.
  3. When the Sensor is turned OFF, the fixture will stay on 24/7

Sensor Application Notice:

  1. The distance between any inductive sensor luminaires should be greater than 3m.
  2. According to installation height, note sensor detection area.
  3. To prevent false trigger:
  4. Avoid high-density objects, such as: metal, glass, concrete walls, etc., beyond the sensor detection area.
  5. Avoid moving signals beyond the sensor detection area, such as: fan, DC motor, sewer pipe, air outlet, heavy rainfall, motion behind a thin wall, etc.
  6. Avoid the shock & vibration environmental application.
  7. The sensor programming always goes the process of initialization and Daylight Priority + 3-leveled dimming operational mode; to get customized setting, recommend to utilize the sensor remote, contact your dealer.
  8. The parameters of the sensor may need to be reconfigured to adapt different installation environments, please refer to the remote instruction or contact the manufacturer.
