APPLICATIONS

  • Unwind the necessary length of the power cord C2 from the storage space of the stand C. Place the stand on a suitable surface, in the height of about 85 cm, out of reach of children and incapacitated persons and plug the fork of the power cord to the electric socket (you will hear a signal sound and signal light indicators will flash).

  • Hold the kettle A on the handle A2. Open the lid A3 by pressing the lock button A4. Fill the kettle with drinking water. Minimum and maximum water level is indicated by the watermark A1. Close the lid by snapping and position the kettle filled with water onto the removable base C (you will hear a signal sound and the signal light indicators A5 will flash).

    • Water heating to 100°C
  • Press the button B1 to automatically switch on the kettle to a temperature of 100 °C; the background colouring of the signal lights A5 will come on. By pressing the button B1 repeatedly, the kettle will switch off.

  • As soon as the required temperature is reached, the kettle will switch off.

    • Water heating to a temperature of 50 – 90°C
  • Press the button B2 repeatedly to set the required temperature from the following options:
50-70-80-90°C; the selected temperature is indicated by the appropriate signal light indicator B3. Confirm the selected temperature by pressing the button B1 which will put the kettle on; at the same time, the background colouring of the signal lights A5 will come on.

  • As soon as the required temperature is reached, the kettle will switch off. During the heating process, you can change the selected temperature by pressing the temperature selection button B2.

KEEP WARM (heating up)

  • Select the required temperature using the button B2 first and then keep the button B1 pressed. You will hear a sound signal and the appropriate signal light indicator B3 will start flashing.
  • As soon as the required temperature is reached, heating will switch off, while the light indicator B3 remains flashing. For 30 minutes, the kettle will maintain the temperature you have set; after that, you will hear two short signal sounds and the kettle will switch off completely.

Notes

  • Water heating, including the KEEP WARM function, can be cancelled at any time using the button B1.
  • Please consider the following tips as examples and inspiration not intended to provide complete instructions, but just to show the possibilities of heating of various liquids. Water temperatures are only approximate and may vary according to personal taste, quantity, type, quality and age of the used tea, coffee, etc.
  • 50 °C = baby food,
  • 70 °C = green tea,
  • 80 °C = white tea,
  • 90 °C = oolong teas, coffee, instant drinks, soup,
  • 100 °C = black, herbal tea.

Note : To ensure maximum accuracy of the temperature set, which is lower than 100°C,

we recommend heating no less than 0.7 litres of water (preferably more than 1 litre).

  • Always use fresh drinking water for boiling. The temperature and time heating depends on the amount of water and the initial temperature of water. For the correct temperature setting, follow the manufacturers‘ instructions that are described on food packages (e.g. tea, coffee, instant drinks, soap, etc.).

Note

  • Lifting the kettle off the stand cancels all the set functions.
  • If you set a heating temperature which is lower than the current water temperature, you will hear two signal sounds and the kettle will switch off. However, if you activate the KEEP WARM function when setting a temperature which is lower than the current temperature, the kettle will maintain the temperature at the value you have set (i.e. it will wait till the water temperature drops to this value and maintain it).
  • If you are preparing food for very young children (e.g. to 50 °C), the water must
be heated to a boil (100 °C) first. Wait until the water cools down and check its temperature before serving. The recommended safe temperature food for children is max. 40 °C.

MAINTENANCE

  • Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the fork of the power cord out of the socket! Clean the kettle only when it is cooled down! Do not use rough and aggressive detergents (e.g. sharp objects, scrapers, diluting agents or other solvents)! The casing of the electric kettle is made of top-quality glass and the heating bottom is made of top-quality stainless steel, but in common use, impurities from water get stuck on them (water scale), particularly above the heating element. It is not rust or another material defect of the kettle container.

Cleaning the kettle

  • Pour about 50 g citric acid to the kettle with the water scale sediment. Fill the kettle to about one half and mix. After it dissolves, fill the kettle to 3/4 of the maximum amount of water.

ENVIRONMENT

  • Printed signs of materials used for manufacture, packing, components and accessories, as well as their recycling, are on all the pieces if their dimensions enable it.
  • The symbols on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the used electric or electronic products must not be disposed together with municipal wastes. Please, hand them over to the collection points designed for their correct disposal, where they will be accepted free of charge.

For further details ask the municipal authorities or the nearest collecting point. Penalties can be charged for incorrect disposal of such wastes, according to national regulations. If the appliance is to be put out of operation definitely, we recommend cutting off the feeder cable, to disable its use.
