Product Usage Instructions

1. Step 1: Gateway Installation and Cloud Bridge Creation
   Do not install the Gateway in the greenhouse yet. Follow these steps:

2. Connect the antenna to the Gateway.

3. Scan the QR code on the Gateway (do not plug in ethernet/power yet).

4. Step 2: Cloud Bridge Installation
   Follow these steps to install the Cloud Bridge:

5. Optional: Connect to your e-Gro account (skip if not subscribed).

6. Enter your facility name and press next.

7. Select your time zone and press OK and next.

8. Enter your email address for recovery purposes.

9. Select Done.

10. Step 3: Add GroSens Sensors
    To add GroSens sensors, follow these steps:

11. Select the sensor to install and follow the onscreen instructions.

12. For detailed sensor installation, refer to the GroSens installation manual.

13. Step 4: Create a Room or Zone
    In this step, create a room or zone for your plants:

14. Name your room and select the correct substrate type.

15. Step 5: Device Management: Add Hardware
    In this step, you can add additional Gateways if needed. No need to scan additional QR codes: The process is similar to installation.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

1. Q: Can I install the Gateway in the greenhouse?
   A: No, do not install the Gateway in the greenhouse at this point. It is a later step.

2. Q: How many antennas are delivered with the Gateway?
   A: Two antennas are delivered with the Gateway. Ideally, use the longest antenna.

3. Q: Which regions are supported by the Cloud Bridge?
   A: The Cloud Bridge is currently only supported in Japan, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.

4. Q: Do I need to subscribe to e-Gro for Cloud Bridge installation?
   A: No, it is optional. You can skip that step if you haven’t subscribed to e-Gro.

2. Select the region you are located. The Cloud Bridge is currently only supported in Japan, South Korea, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Let’s Start: System explanation

• Do not install the Gateway in the greenhouse at this point.
  If you have more than 1 Gateway, use only 1 of the gateways to create the Virtual Bridge.

Step 1: Gateway installation and cloud bridge creation

• Do not install the Gateway in the greenhouse yet, it is a later step.

1. Scan the QR code on the gateway. NOTE: Do not plug in ethernet/power the gateway yet, that is a later step
2. The actual number of created cloud bridges varies.

Step 1: Gateway installation

• This is the step to install the Gateway in the greenhouse.
• Connect the antenna.
  NOTE: 2 antennas are delivered with the gateway. Ideally, use the longest antenna.

Step 2: Cloud bridge installation

1. Optional: Connection to e-Gro account.
   NOTE: if you have not subscribed to e-Gro you will skip this step

2. Enter facility name and press next

3. Select time zone, press OK and next

4. Enter your email address for recovery purposes. Note this is needed for events such as getting a new phone or when disconnected from the cloud bridge

• Select Done

Step 3: Add GroSens sensors

• Select the sensor to install and follow the onscreen instructions. Additional details on GroSens sensor installation, please refer to the GroSens installation manual

Step 4: Create a room or zone

• Name your room and select correct substrate type

Step 5: Device management: Add Hardware

In this step, you can add additional Gateways. Note that you do not need to scan additional QR codes for additional Gateways.
