LaserPecker LP2 PC Software User Guide
For LP2 and LP3 users, who want to use Laser Pecker PC software (beta), please follow the instructions below to upgrade the firmware of your LP machine, and connective USB-C cable or LP Bluetooth Dongle.

I. LP Machine Firmware Upgrade
Currently, Laser Pecker PC software (beta) is only compatible with the latest firmware version, which means you’ll need to upgrade the firmware of your LP machine to use it.
- For LP3 user with V5.5.0 or V5.5.1 firmware version (and LP4 and LX1 users), as you already have the latest version, please skip the first step.
- For users with an LP Bluetooth dongle, please refer to the firmware upgrade guide in the VI part.

History Documents Backup
History engraving documents may be lost during firmware upgrade, please back up first. -
LP Machine Firmware Upgrade
If you have an LP Bluetooth dongle, make sure it’s powered off in case you wrongly connect the app to the dongle

Use an Android phone, open this URL: https://www.pgyer.com/KlD9 to download and install the LP Firmware Upgrade APP.

Connect the APP to your LP machine via Bluetooth. Choose the highest firmware version you can get, and click upgrade. Check tutorial video here: https://bit.ly/3VX0WW1.

DON’T USE/MOVE your LP until the indicator turns Blue, which means upgrade process is finished
II. Download and Install the LaserPecker PC Software

Visit https://app.laserpecker.net/app to download the newest LaserPecker PC software with the most complete features (Current Version: 2.0.0-Beta52).

The installation package is clean, so please turn down the Antivirus software on your computer to make sure you can successfully install the software.

For Windows users, the PC software installation package has a build-in USB driver and a Bluetooth Drive installation package. Please follow the pop up guide to install these two drivers.
III. LaserPecker PC Software Connection
Currently there ‘re two ways to connect: via a USB-C cable or via an LP Bluetooth dongle. 1. Connect via USB-C Cable

Connect via USB-C Cable
Connect your LP to the computer with a USB-C cable. Open the LaserPecker software, click the upper right button, and choose the right port to connect.

Connect via LP Bluetooth Dongle
This connection method is only for users with an LP Bluetooth dongle:
- Make sure your LP machine is powered off beforehand in case you wrongly connect to the LP machine in stead of the dongle.
- Follow the tutorials below to upgrade the firmware your LP Bluetooth Dongle to the latest: iOS: http://bit.ly/3yvedvz; Android: http://bit.ly/3J7c3r2
- Plug in the upgraded LP Bluetooth Dongle to your computer.
- Open the LaserPecker software, click the upper right button, and choose the right port to connect.
By now, you’ve successfully connect the LaserPecker PC software to your LP
machine.
VI. Firmware Upgrade Via LP Bluetooth Dongle
- Plug in the upgraded LP Bluetooth dongle.
- Click the upper left menu button>Firmware Upgrade to get the latest firmware.

VI. Firmware Upgrade Via LP Bluetooth Dongle
- Plug in the upgraded LP Bluetooth dongle.
- Click the upper left menu button>Firmware Upgrade to get the latest firmware.

Is your LP machine placed too far from the computer?| Keep the LP
machine within 1m from your the computer.
Does something block the communication between thedongle and LP machine?|
Make sure you have nothing blocked between the Bluetooth dongle and LP
machine.
**** Is your Bluetooth dongle firmware the latest version?| Follow this
tutorial to upgrade the firmware of your BT dongle to the latest:

Is your PC software the correct version?| Please download the PC 2.0.0

**“Device is Busy”| ** Is the Bluetooth
correctly connected?| When using the LP Bluetooth dongle to connect, two
beeping sounds mean it’s correctly connected, while one beeping sound means
its incorrectly connected.Try plug off the BT dongle and reconnect to the PC
software.
**** Is the Bluetooth disconnected?| The PC software cannot check and
report if the Bluetooth dongle is disconnected. So please plug off the
Bluetooth dongleand re-plug it into the computer.
Is your BT dongle placed too far from the LP machine?| Place your
BT dongle closer to the LP machine.
LP machine is working| The LP machine is engraving, cutting, in
previewing……try again later when the project is finished, or manually
stopped.
PC software has been ** connected by USB cable| Choose one way to
connect: via LP Bluetooth dongle OR ** USB-C cable.
