WARNING – This toy is not a safety device.
WARNING – DROWNING HAZARD.
- Children have drowned while using bathing aid products.
- Children can drown in as little as 2 cm of water in a very short time.
- Always remain in contact with your child during bathing.
- Never leave your baby unattended in the bath, even for a few moments. If you need to leave the room, take the baby with you.
- DO NOT allow other children (even older) to substitute for an adult.
WARNING
- To avoid scalding by hot water, position the product in such a way to prevent your child from reaching the source of water.
- Always ensure the suction cups well adhere to the bathtub.
- Do not use this product on a bathtub with an uneven surface.
- Use this product only when your child is able to sit unaided.
- Stop using this product when your child tries to stand up by himself.
- Check the temperature of the water surrounding the product prior to placing the child into the product. The typical water temperature for bathing a child is between 35°C and 38 °C.
- Check the stability of the product before use.
- Do not use the product if any components are broken or missing.
- Do not use replacement parts other than those approved by the manufacturer or distributor.
- Ensure the level of water is not higher than your child’s navel.

Introducing the 2-in-1 Interactive Bath Seat by VTech®! This great bath seat has a happy frog that just loves to play. Push him down for lots of bathtime fun for your little one! Features a spinning wheel and seal pourer for hours of fun bath play. Press one of the four light-up buttons to discover shapes, animals, and numbers and to hear playful melodies. The Activity board can easily detach so the fun does not stop after bath time and can be used for floor play.

All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable
tags, cable ties, cords, and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and
should be discarded for your child’s safety.

GETTING STARTED
BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
- Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the unit. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw. Then remove the cover.
- If used batteries are present, remove these batteries from the unit by pulling them up on one end of each battery.
- Install 2 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (For best performance, alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are recommended).
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure it.
WARNING:
Adult assembly is required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of
reach of children.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances that can be damaging to the environment and human health. The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked, indicate that the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in the Batteries and Accumulators Regulation. The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after 13th August 2005. Help protect the environment by disposing of your product or batteries responsibly.VTech® cares for the planet. Care for the environment and give your toy a second life by disposing of it at a small electrical collection point so all its materials can be recycled.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION:
TO ENSURE YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY, THIS PRODUCT MUST BE ASSEMBLED BY AN
ADULT.

Attach the suction cups by pushing them firmly into the 4 holes on the underside of the seat. Please adjust the suction cups according to requirements and ensure the
cups are attached securely. Once the suction cups have been attached they cannot be removed again. -
Attach the chair back by pushing it into the holes on either side of the seat, and press gently until you hear it click into place. Please ensure the seat back is attached securely. Once the seat back has been attached, it cannot be removed again.

Attach the frog by placing it in the center of the activity board. Press gently until you hear it click into place. Please ensure the frog is attached securely to the activity board, once the frog has been attached, it cannot be removed again.

To attach the activity board turns the release lock located on the bottom of the seat. Insert the board onto the lock, push down, then release the lock. To remove the activity board turns the lock again to release it, then pull the activity board away from the seat.

Note: Once the bath seat is attached to the bath, loosen the suction cups before attempting to remove it.
PRODUCT FEATURES

ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/OFF/ VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the LOW VOLUME or HIGH VOLUME
position. To turn the unit OFF, slide the ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the OFF position. -
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech® 2-in-1 Interactive Bath Seat will automatically power down after approximately 30 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button.
WARNINGS
- The batteries must be changed by an adult.
- Recommended bath length: 10 minutes.
- This toy cannot be used in salt water.
- After using this toy, do not leave it in the water for a long time.
- This toy can be operated in water only when fully assembled in accordance with the instructions.
- This is not a lifesaving device. Do not leave a child unattended while the VTech® 2-in-1 Interactive Bath Seat is in use.
- Never leave a child unattended or with an older child in the bathroom or in the bath, not even for one minute.
- Always check with a thermometer the temperature of the water coming from the tap before sitting the child in the bath. Toddlers have very sensitive skin and can easily get burnt if the water is too hot.
- Please keep your child away from the tap.
- Children’s most vulnerable stage is 5-10 months.
- When closing the battery cover ensure that the screw is securely tightened. This will avoid any water leakage.
- Only use this unit in water between 10 and 45 degrees centigrade, Recommended bath water temperature: 37°C.
- Please keep the water depth to around 100 mm as marked on the legs of the bath seat.
- Always keep the child within arm’s reach. During bath time stay in the room, do not answer the door or the phone, if you must leave the room for urgent reasons take your child with you.
- Please note the product does not provide any additional safety protection from water hazards or drowning.
- Correct position:
ACTIVITIES
- 1. Switch the OFF/ LOW VOLUME/ HIGH VOLUME SWITCH to LOW VOLUME or HIGH VOLUME.
- You will hear a fun song and sound effects. The lights will flash with the sounds.
- Press the SHAPE BUTTONS to hear sound effects, fun phrases, and melodies. The lights will flash with the sounds.
- Press the Frog to hear fun phrases and to see water spray out of his mouth.
- The Water Wheel can be spun around using water scooped up in the Seal.
- If there is no input to the 2-in-1 Interactive Bath Seat after approximately 10 seconds you will hear a short phrase. If there is no input for another 10 seconds, you will be asked to find one of the animals. If there continues to be no input, the unit will automatically power down.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
- Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
- When taking a bath, the speaker may fill up with water temporarily and the volume of the product may decrease. Allow the water to drain away from the speaker or keep the speaker away from the water to recover its sound level.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
- Turn the unit Off.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit sit for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to play with again.
- If the unit is not working properly, install a brand-new set of batteries.If the problem persists, please contact our Consumer Services Department, and a service representative will be happy to help you.
