WARNING

  1. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  2. To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
  3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  4. When the appliance is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance from the outlet.

RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION

  1. Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the grille when fan is running.
  2. Disconnect fan when moving from one location to another.
  3. Be sure fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.
  4. DO NOT place the fan in a window sill, rain may create electrical hazard.
  5. This product is for household use only.

GENERAL NOTICE

This device is intended for home use only to ventilate rooms in the manner described in this manual. Do not use it for any other purpose. Any other inappropriate usage can be dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for eventual damage caused by inappropriate, improper or irresponsible use and/or for repairs made to the product by unauthorised personnel.

This device is intended to be used in household or similar applications such as:
Staff kitchen in shops, offices or other working environments.
Farm houses.
Hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
Bed and breakfast type environments.

NOTE:

  • Do not pull on the cord to disconnect the plug from the socket.

INSTALLATION

  • After removing the packing materials, check the integrity of the fan; if you are unsure, do not use it and contact our customer service. The packing materials (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails, etc.) must be kept out the reach of children because they are potential sources of danger.
  • Before connecting the device, check that the voltage values shown on the data plate correspond to those of the electricity supply network. In the event of incompatibility between the electric outlet and the plug of the device, do not use the device. Do not operate this device using adapters or extension cords.
  • The power socket must be easy to reach so the plug can be removed quickly in case of emergency.
  • Do not place the device near sinks or other container of liquids (minimum distance of 2 meters) to avoid the risk of it falling in.
  • Keep the fan far away from fabrics (curtains, etc.) or unstable materials that could obstruct the air intake grille; make sure that the front is free of unstable materials (dust, etc.).
  • Make sure that the electric cord is not touching rough, hot or moving surfaces and not twisted or wrapped around the appliance.
  • In the event of a breakdown or poor operation, turn the fan off and contact our customer services.

BEFORE USE

Before each use, verify that the mini tower fan is in good condition and that the power cord is not damaged. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a competent qualified electrician, in order to avoid any risk.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

ANSIO 1100 Desktop Mini Tower Fan - USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Plug in the mini tower fan to the power supply and turn the power ON.

  2. Align the rib in the switch ring to the desired speed setting found to the left of “0” (see Figure 1)
    0 = Off
    1 = Low Speed
    2 = Medium Speed
    3 = High Speed

  3. If you prefer the mini fan to operate with oscillation, align the rib to the desired speed setting found to the right of “0” (see Figure 2)
    0 = Off
    1 = Low Speed with oscillation
    2 = Medium Speed with oscillation
    3 = High Speed with oscillation

  4. To switch the mini tower fan off, align the rib to “0” position and turn the power supply OFF.

NOTE: When not in use for long period of time, the power cord must always be removed from the socket.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTE: Before cleaning, the fan must be turned off and the power plug must be removed from the socket.

  • Clean the body of the fan with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive or corrosive products.
  • Do not immerse any part of the fan in water or any other liquid. Should this happen, the product is not safe to use. Dispose it safely as explained in the “Waste Disposal” section.
  • It is essential that the air outlet is kept clean, free from dust and lint.
  • If you do not intend to use the product for a long period of time, it must be protected from dust and humidity. We recommend storing it in its original packaging.

WASTE DISPOSAL

  • This item must not be disposed of with the household waste.
  • **** Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority for recycling advice. The crossed out wheeling bin symbol is to emphasize that when the item is disposed, it must be separately collected for recycling the materials they contain in the interest of environment and human health.
