GPOE-1-WM 1 Port PoE Injector Gigabit Compliant
Before we collect the questions, please refer to the image to know the types of the PoE injector:
This is a collection of questions you often encounter when choosing the
PoE injector:
Q1: Which PoE Injector should I choose for my devices?
A1: Depending on the input needs of your device, and the number of devices you
need to connect. Please refer to your PoE device’s datasheet to confirm the
input ( PoE 802.3af or 12~24V input). If the input is Passive Power over
Ethernet (12~24V input), please choose the 24V power supply combo pack; If
the input is PoE IEEE802.3af/48V please choose the 48V power combo pack.
For example, your device is Irisys vector 4D and you need to connect 4
devices, according to the Datasheet of this product shows “the power supply is
PoE IEEE802.3af Class 3(<12.95W)”; so you need to select the PoE injector If
it meets the requirements of 802.3af and can support 4 devices to work online
at the same time, then we recommend you to buy GPOE-4A-48V60W, GPOE-4B-48V60W,
GAT-4-48V60W.
(Refer to the product description: this product conforms to IEEE802.3af/at,
and the maximum output of 802.3af equipment can reach 15.4w. It can be seen
that a 60w power supply can support 4 equipment to work at the same time, and
the output of a single port is greater than 12.95W)
If your PoE devices requires a Passive Power over Ethernet (12~24V input), for an example: Unifi UVC-Dome, please choosing the PoE injector with a 24V 60W or 120W power supply.
PD’s Data sheet:
So, if your devices need to use Active PoE injector, that’s same as the way as
above to confirm.
The PoE injector has 100 Mbit/s date rate and 1000 Mbit/s Date rate, if your
PoE devices requires Gigabit data transmission rate, please choose the Gigabit
PoE injector option.
Q2: What’s the differences between the Mode A and Mode B?
A2: The differences of the Mode A and B is the Pins of the injector. Mode A
are Pins 1/2 (-), 3/6 (+); Mode B are Pins 4/5 (+), 7/8 (-);
Q3: What is the difference between POE and GPOE series?
A3: POE series is allow 10/100 Mbit/s data transmission; GPOE series allow
10/100/1000 Mbit/s data transmission.
Q4: What’s the difference between your company’s power supply and others?
A4: All of our power supplies have the UL or FCC certification, and it is
custom for the injectors we are selling to provide efficient power.
