TERM PLUG
Cat6A Shielded Field Term Plug

Cut cable boot if necessary & slide down cable several inches.

Remove 2.5″ of cable jacket, carefully avoid nicking any conductors. Do NOT remove foil shield.

Fold the cable shield backwards & wrap the drain wire around. Remove spline, PE tape, or waterproof tape.

Insert conductors into either T568A or T568B color sequence.

Carefully flush cut conductors from sides of termination cap.

Carefully and evenly seat the termination cap fully into the plug housing.

Insert conductor cap into housing. It fits one way,keying on the white notch.
IMPORTANT: Press cap downward to preseat before closing lid!

RECOMMENDED: Use trueCLOSE pliers to apply force at the very rear.
-
Slide boot over rear of plug to lock closed.
-
Remove plastic disconnect tab to prevent tampering if needed. All done!
