Ampai DS121 Smart Switch
Installation
Warning:
Make sure the power supply is completely cut off before replacing the switch.
If you are unfamiliar with the installation specifications or are
uncomfortable performing the installation, please call a qualified
electrician.
- Remove the old switch from the junction box.
- As shown in the diagrams on the next page, insert the wires into the corresponding terminal holes on the new switch and fasten them.
- Use screws to fix the switch controller to the junction box in the wall.
- Fix the switch panel onto the switch controller correctly by matching the numbered labels “a, b, c, d”.
Reset:
- Press and hold the switch for 5 seconds until the light flashes.
- The device will be restored to its factory settings.
Connect Homekit
Option 1: Tap to connect via NFC
- Step 1: Unlock your iPhone and tap the NFC tag area of the plug.
- Step 2 : A “new device” tab will show up.
- Click “add” and follow the instructions to setup your device.
Note:
- Please make sure NFC is enabled on your iPhone. You can check it by “Settings-> General →> NFC”.
- If the “new device” tab is not shown when you tap the device, please lock and unlock your iPhone and try again.
- Tap to Connect” is an iOS function, for Android users, please install the “Aimore” app.
- The NFC sensor is supported on the iPhone 7 or above. Please confirm the NFC sensor location if you have trouble with this function.
Option 2: Scan to connect via QR
- Step 1: Open the IOS camera and scan the HomeKit setup QR code on the device.
- Step 2 : When the setup prompt appears, tap Continue” to add the device to your Home app.
- If you’re unable to set up the device using the Home app, try the following:
- Ensure that your iOS device is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Forget all other WiFi networks on your iOS device and connect again.
- Press and hold the switch for 5 seconds until the light flashes to reset the smart device, and then try again.
NOTE:
- To control your Homekit accessories while away from home, share control with others, and automate your accessories, you need to set up your HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV, or iPad as a home hub.
- Please complete the HomeKit connection within 10 minutes. If the time limit is exceeded, you will need to reset the device.

- The device will be restored to its factory settings.
Connect Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant
Step 1: Download and Install the “Aimore” App.
- Search for “Aimore” in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Alternatively, scan the QR code below to download and install the app.
- NOTE: To add the switch to the Aimore app, make sure that your phone’s Bluetooth function is turned on.
- The free Aimore app is compatible with iOS 10.0 and above, and Android 5.0 and above.
Step 2: Connect to Alexa and Google Home
- Open the “Me” interface in the Aimore app.
- Select “Third-Party Voice Services” to access the detailed instructions.
- Note: Scan the corresponding QR code to get the connection tutorial.
- If you don’t want to use HomeKit, Alexa, or Google, you can use the “Aimore” app to control this device. Just download the app by scanning the QR code on the previous page.
