Basic Operations

Turn on/off
Push up the button on the left hand to turn on the device; push down the button to turn off the unit.
You can also press and hold the button to switch it off.

Charging
Please use a sv?1A power adapter that complies with the national standard. Under normal conditions, it can be fully charged around 2 hours. You can also charge the unit with PC, but a full charge takes longer time than by using the adapter.
Note: If the voice recorder is not in use for a long time, please charge it every other month.

Connecting with PC
In the power-on state, connect the PC and the voice recorder with the provided USB cable, go to “My Computer” and find the disk of this voice recorder.
Supported operating system: Windows 7 /8/10/11

Volume Control
When playing music or recording, press the button+ or – on the right to raise or lower the volume.

Previous .
Press this button .: to switch to the previous song and !: to the next.

Rewind Fast-forward
While playing music or recording, press and hold the button. to rewind and to fast-forward.

Recording

  • Normal Recording
    In the power on state, press the button to start a voice recording.

  • Pause Recording
    During recording, press the button to pause recording, and press it again to continue.

  • Save Recording
    End a recording by pressing the button , and confirm to save or not by button .

Recording Settings

  1. Recording library
    Recordings are named as time-stamped. The latest saved recording locate the bottom of the recording library.

  2. Recording Format
    WAV format in Bit Rate 512kbps,1024kbps, 1536kbps

  3. Record from
    MIC in: The recording effect of Recording from the built-in microphone is not very good, since the microphone is low output power, so an external amplification device is necessary to amplify the audio signal.
    Line in: The line-in recording allows direct recording of MP3 format files from other music players such as mobile phone, cassette players and CD players. It is best suited for full mixes and loud signals.

  4. Recording gain
    Level 1 to level 5 are optional.
    Increasing the recording gain will increase the sensitivity of the microphone, but also record more noise.

  5. Recording light switch
    If you want to recording without attracting attention, it is recommended to turn off the recording light.

  6. AVR mode
    Turn on the AVR Mode and press the button REC, the voice recorder will start recording automatically (green icon appears when recording in the AVR mode) if the sound reaches a certain standard, and pause when the sound is lower than the standard.

  7. Recording Monitor
    When you’ re recording audio, turn on this function, you can hear what’s being recorded.
    If you don’t monitor your sound when recording, then you’ve no idea about the quality of the audio until you play it back afterwards.
    Note: The Recording Monitor and AVR Mode cannot be active at the same time.

  8. Recording Subsection
    When recording, the device is able to automatically segment the content of the recording according to a certain time: 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes and 120 minutes, and save each segment of the recording independently.
    This feature allows you to manage recording files more easily to avoid the problem of not being able to find what you need quickly for large sections of recording files.

  9. Timed Recording
    Timed recording allows you to record your voice periodically so that you can view it later.

There are two timed recording cycle to choose: Single, Everyday
Set the start time and end time, then you can start recording at regular intervals.

Delete Recordings
You can delete the recordings one by one or delete all of them at once.
When playing a recording, press the button M, select Delete or Delete All according to your needs.

Folder

Here you can check all the folders saved in this voice recorder.
Folders are displayed according to the time as they were saved. In brief, the earliest saved folder displays first, the latest saved folder locates the bottom.

Music

Menu below Music including Last played, All songs, Artists, Albums, Genres, Playlists and Refresh playlists.
Music files are sorted according to ASCII encoding rules. The device auto extracts the ID3 tag from music files and sorts them into Artists, Albums, Genres folders.

Playlists
3 defaulted Playlists which cannot be renamed or deleted.
Not allowed to create New Playlists either.

Sub-menu of Music
When playing a song, press the button M, then you’ II find the sub-menu below:

  • Delete: delete one music file
  • Delete All: delete all the music files
  • Now Playing: music being played now
  • Play mode:

  • Replay times and replay interval
  • Sound settings: Equalizer(off, Rock, Funk, Hip hop, Jau, Classical, Techno) and Variable Speed Playback from Oto 8.
  • Remove from Playlist: remove music from the 3 playlists
  • Add to Playlist: Add music to one of the 3 playlists

How to set AB Repeat
AB repeat works for both music and recordings.

  1. While playing music or recording, press the button M.
  2. Select the Repeat mode, then it auto-return to the playing interface, you’ II see the “A-B” come up on the screen, and A is flashing at this moment.
  3. Press the button to set the beginning of the repeated paragraph, B blinking while A not blinking at this time.
  4. Press the button again when you want to end the AB repeat. Then the voice recorder will repeat in A-B interval playback.
  5. Exit the A-B repeat by pressing the button .

Setting

Languages
English, Francais, Deutsch, Italiano, Espanol, 821<!8.

Date and time
Set date and time, so the recordings have the right time stamp.

Display settings
You can set the brightness of the screen from Oto 11, and how long the screen saver start: 10 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds and always on.
Auto shutdown can be set from Oto 99 minutes.

Password
The password is turned off by default.
Simply follow the steps below to set a password:

  1. Setting -“‘Password settings->Password Switch ->ON
  2. Select password setting below the Password switch, then you’ II be asked to input a new password.
  3. Move the digit by pressing the buttons , set the digit by hit buttons+ or- ( digits ranging from 00 to 20). Confirm the 6-digit by pressing the button .

Next time, no matter when you turn on or wake up the voice recorder from sleep, you should input the password to unlock.

Note:
If you forget the password, please input the password 181818 to unlock the device, then change the password as following steps:

Format device
If you format the device, all data will be deleted, please think twice.

Reset
Reset will restore the settings of the device to the factory default state.
