Basic Operation

Power on/off

1. Power on: Push up the power switch to ON position, the power indicator turns red for 3 seconds and when it turns to blue and blinks, it is starting a voice recording.
2. Power off: In the power-on state, push the power switch to OFF position, all lights are off and the recorder is switched off.

Charging
Using the supplied usb cable, connect your computer or a wall charger to the usb port on the device. When the power light is on, indicating that the recorder is charging. The battery can be fully charged for about 5 hours.
Note: Your power adapter must meet the following requirements:
Input: AC 110-240V, 50/GOHz, Max:lSOmAh, Output: DC SV/lA.
Connecting with PC
Connect the PC and the voice recorder with the provided USB cable, go to “Removable disk” to find or organize the recording files. Note: Please exit the U disk mode normally(do not unplug the unit directly) to prevent data loss.
Indicator Description

lights off and device is turned off
| Recording| Blinking| Indicator turns red for 3s and turns to blue and blinks

| Save recording| Light off| Device shutdown, all lights off and recording is saved
| Low power| Blinking| Device automatically shut down when less than 10% power

Main Functions

➢ APP Download and Installation
This recorder can be used alone or Bluetooth with the “SMART REC” APP.
Scan the QR code below to download the APP directly, or search for “SMART REC” on the App Store to install it. ➢ Bluetooth Connection
Turn on the recorder, then get into the app of “Smart REC”, you will find the interface as below: ➢ Start Voice Recording

1. Record via the recorder alone:
   Turn on the recorder, when the power indicator turns red for 3 seconds and turns to blue and blinks, it’ s starting a recording.

2. Record thru the App:
   When the recorder is connected to the APP, taponthe “Start REC” button, the recorder and the APP will both enter the recording mode.

3. Record during a phone call: Stick the voice recorder on your phone via the included magnetic ring(if magnetism of your phone is not available), and turn on the recorder to start a recording, turn off to end the recording.
   To play the call recording file, please connect with Bluetooth and synchronize the file from the recorder to your phone.
   Now you can play or share them. When record a phone call via bluetooth, press “Start Recording” button to start recording before the call, and press “End Recording” button to end the recording.

4. End the recording:
   When the recorder is not connected to the APP, just power off the device and the recording files will be saved. Whenit’ s connected to the APP, tap on the button “End REC” button to end the recording.

5. Synchronize recording files: Transfer recording files from the voice recorder to your mobile phone.

➢ Audio file playback and management

1. Audio file playback: The saved audio file can be played directly on the APP, or on your PC by connecting it via the included usb cable .
2. Edit and share Recording files : Swipe left on a recording file, select Edit to rename the recording, and select Share to share.

➢ File Deletion
It’ s available to delete local audio only or both audio files in the recorder and the App. Swipe left on the recording file select Delete to delete file. ➢ Bulk Deletion
Tap on the button on the left corner to choose “Bulk Delete” for all the recordings, or only parts of them, then press “Delete” to confirm. ➢ Settings & Hidden the Recording Light
The recording light can be hidden. Tap on the button , you can check the information of the recorder, set whether to hide the recording light, and set the languages, etc.
