What should I do if I fail to connect the wavlink device to the wifi signal of the host router?
Please kindly try the steps below to check if these could help.
(1.Reset the device by pressing the reset button for 6s and configure it again.Resetting will be helpful for most unexpected problem (2.Make sure the password should be same as your router.(pay attention to the case)
(3.Enable
the DHCP of your router.Or the repeater could not get the ip address.（If the
dhcp of the router is enabled,pls skip this step）
(4.Disable the MAC filter of your router.If you enable the mac filter in your router,the wavlink device might be not in the white list.So it could not repeat the signal of the router.(If the mac filer is not enabled,pls skip this step)
(5.Change the encryption of your router to WPA2,WPA1 or WPA1/WPA2 MIX.Our device does not support WPA3.
(6.Try to change the 2.4g channel of your host router to 1 or 6 or 11.In some case,the congested channel might cause this problem.
(7.Try to choose bridge mode.This is main to avoid the gateway conflict.
(8.Place the repeater closer to your router,make sure you could
get at less 3 bar of the signal from the router,a strong signal from router
will be easier to repeat.

The wavlink device often disconnect from the host router,what should I do?
Please try the steps below to fix this issue.
(1).Pls try to upgrade the firmware from our official website www.wavlink.com.After upgrading,pls reset the device by pressing the reset button for 6s and configure the wavlink device again.(Firmware upgrading and resetting could solve many unexpected problem) (2).Pls try to change the wireless channel of the host router.(Crowded channel might be another reasons)
For 2.4g,pls choose 1 or 6 or 11.
(3) Check if your router combine 5g and 2.4g signal into one signal.If so,pls try to Separate 5g signal from 2.4g signal,then repeat the signal again.
(4)Place the repeater closer to your router,make sure you could get at less 3 bar of the signal from the router,a strong signal from router will be easier to repeat.

Why the internet speed from wavlink device is not as expected?
And the reasons are shown as below:
1. The device work as a wifi ranger extender,it could help you to get a larger wifi coverage,however the internet speed via wavlink device might be limited.
2. There are many obstacle between the wavlink device and the host router.
3. There are many obstacle between the wavlink device and the client. -
The Crowded channel might cause such problem as well And you could try the steps below to fix this issue.
1. Try to avoid the obstacle between the wavlink device and the host router.
2. Try to avoid the obstacle between the wavlink device and the clients.
3. Try to to change the 2.4g channel of your host router to 1 or 6 or 11.In some case,the congested channel might cause this problem.
4.I want to set the wavlink device as repeater mode to get larger wifi coverage,If the distance between the wavlink device and the target area is too long or there are many obstacle,will the wavlink device meet my needs?
The environment might affect the wireless signal much,Our device might not meet your need if the distance between the router and target area is too long.
And if there are two many obstacle between the wavlink device and host router,our device might not work as expected as well. -
What should I do if the router reboot/reset itself?
Such problem might be caused by many reasons.
Please kindly try the steps below:

2. Try to test the wavlink device at another power source.
If the same thing happen,there should be a hardware issue.
