ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Illustration A: To install safety cables:

Thread safety steel wire into slot on mounting plate (A).

Wrap the safety steel wire around the lock nut (a).
Note: The length of the safety steel wire must be shorter than fixture wires (White/black/green wires). -
Insert clip (b) into both holes on lock nut (a), secure with nuts (c).

Push the lock nut into the outlet box.
NOTICE:
This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable,
local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and
operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect items and contents
carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install it.
Retain all packaging material until installation is complete and approved.

Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.

Thread the pole (G) onto the center nipple of the part (H).

Insert light bulbs (not included) into the sockets.

Insert glass cylinder (J) into the ring of the part (H).
-
Place ring (K) onto the top of the glass shade (J).
-
Thread pole (E) onto the inner rod of the pole (F).
-
Feed wires through poles (G), (F), and (E).
-
Remove mounting plate (A) from fixture base (D) by unscrewing base screws (C).

Affix mounting plate (A) onto ceiling outlet box and secure with mounting screws (B).

Attach fixture steel safety cable to a structural member in the ceiling. (As shown in illustration A)

Attach the bare copper ground from the fixture to the ground junction box wire (usually green or copper), and fasten it together with a plastic wire connector. Tighten and wrap the wire connector with electrical tape. Be sure no wire strands are exposed.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE OUTLET BOX IN YOUR HOME BE PROPERLY GROUNDED. -
Connect a neutral wire from the fixture (ridges molded wire) to the neutral wire from the junction box (usually white). Fasten both wires together with a plastic wire connector and tightly wrap the wire connector with electrical tape. Be sure no wire strands are exposed.

Connect the hot wires from the fixture (smooth wire) to the hot wire (usually black ) from the junction box. Fasten each together with a plastic wire connector and wrap the connection with electrical tape.
DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OTHERWISE, SAFETY WILL BE COMPROMISED. -
Tuck wire connections neatly into the ceiling outlet box.

Attach fixture base (D) to the affixed mounting plate (A), align the holes on the side, and insert base screws (C) into the holes to secure the fixture base (D) to the mounting plate (A).

Restore power and test fixture. Installation is complete.
Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.
