Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Speaker as your source of entertainment!
This speaker can be used via a connection with a tablet, some computers and some smartphones to stream music and make wireless telephone calls. To make the most of the features of your speaker, we recommend that you carefully read this user guide first.

Important Waterproof / Safety Information
M5 is rated IP67, which means the speaker can be heavily splashed with water or left in the rain, and even be submerge in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. If the speaker gets wet, it is recommended that you dry the speaker completely before using it again.

Please note : please make sure that cover is closed and secure before using it in a wet environment.

Important Safety Precautions
When using your Bluetooth Mobile Speaker, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

  1. Keep this product and its charging cable away from excessive heat.
  2. Do not operate this device with a damaged cable or after it has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any manner.
  3. Do not disassemble your device.

Charging Your Speaker

  1. Connect one end of the included Charging Cable to the Charging Port on your speaker. Then plug the other end of the USB Charging Cable into a suitable USB port or your computer to recharge your speaker’s internal rechargeable battery.
  2. The internal battery of your speaker takes approximately 3 hours to charge when completely drained.
  3. When charging, a red LED light will illuminate to indicate that the unit is charging. The red light will turn off when your unit is fully charged.

Tips : You will hear a ” low battery” prompt when the battery is low and needs to be recharged. To protect the battery’s durability, fully charge the speaker if it is not used for a long time.

A Quick Look At Your Device

    • Press and hold the ” ” for power on.
    • Press and hold the ” ” again for power off.
    • Press this button twice to select 5 lights mode or turn off the light.
    • The light has memory function with the last operation before power off.
  3. Next / Volume +
    • Press and hold to access the next track in playlist.
    • Press to increase the volume.
  4. Previous / Volume –
    • Press and hold to access the last track in palylist.
    • Press to lower the volume.

Understanding The LED Status Lights
When Charging Your Speaker

  • Solid red LED = Charging
  • No red LED = Charge Complete

When Pairing Your Speaker To A Bluetooth Audio Source

  • Rapid blinking blue LED : Bluetooth not connected. (Ready to pair.)
  • Solid blue LED: Bluetooth connected.

Pairing Bluetooth Devices To Your Speaker
To pair your Bluetooth audio device to your Bluetooth Speaker for the first time, follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure your Bluetooth audio source is held within three meters of your speaker.
  2. Press and hold the ” ” button on your speaker to power it on. The LED light will blink blue to indicate that you have entered pairing status.
  3. Go to the Bluetooth Manager of your Bluetooth audio source. Please refer to the User’s Manual of your Bluetooth audio source for more information.
  4. Search Bluetooth devices and select “HEYSONG M5”.
  5. Once paired, the blue LED light will be solid and you can use your speaker to listen to audio from your Bluetooth sound source.
  6. Press and hold “+” and” – ” buttons to disconnect the Bluetooth from the device.

NOTE:

  • The speaker will pair with the last connected device when that device is in range.
  • The speaker will be turned off if no device has been paired for more than 10 minutes.

Using The Hands-Free Function
When an iPhone or other smartphone is connected to your speaker follow the steps below to take calls hands-free.

  1. Press ” ” to pick up the call.
  2. Press and hold “ ” to reject the call.
  3. During a call: Press” “again to hang up the call.

TWS Function

If you have two of M5, you can use multiple points to achieve wireless stereo combined playing music.

  1. Power on both units and make sure two M5 are without any Bluetooth connection.
  2. Press” “button on one of the speakers, the two speakers will connect automatically with indicated tone. When the blue LED blinks quickly on one unit and solid on the other one, it means the multiple-point connection is successful.
  3. Under connection, search Bluetooth device and select “HEYSONG M5 “
  4. When the device and the units are connected, the blue LED of both units will be solid.
  5. Press and hold ” + ” and ” -” buttons to disconnect the TWS connection.

NOTE:
Once connected for dual pairing, the 2 speakers will re-connect TWS again automatically when the power is turned on a second time or later.
