Product Information
The SOUYIE L1 Smart Watch is a Bluetooth-enabled smart watch
that offers various features and functions. It comes with a user
manual and an original charging dock. The watch needs to be charged
for 2 hours before first use. The package includes:
- SOUYIE L1 BT smart watch
- User Manual
- Original Charging Dock
Function Diagram
The watch has a charging icon on the screen to indicate
successful charging. It takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge
the watch, and the battery icon will be full when fully charged.
The metal contacts at the bottom of the watch need to be aligned
and attached to the charging pins of the charging dock for
charging. It is recommended to clean the metal contacts before
charging to prevent any potential risks.
Correct Wearing Method
The correct wearing position of the watch is about 2 cm from the
wrist bone. This position ensures more accurate heart rate
measurement. The tightness of wearing should allow room for the
skin to breathe and for the sensor to work properly. It is
recommended to scrub the heart rate sensor on the back of the watch
regularly. The accuracy of measurements may be affected by skin
color or tattoos on the wrist.
Product Usage Instructions
Charging and Activation

Align and attach the charging pins of the charging dock to the
metal contacts at the bottom of the watch. -
You will see the charging icon on the watch screen within 5
seconds. -
If the watch does not respond when charged for the first time,
it may be due to an exhausted battery. Charge the watch for more
than half an hour to activate it. -
Charging fully may take 2 hours. The battery icon will be full
when the watch is fully charged. -
NOTE: Clean the metal contacts before charging to prevent any
potential risks.
Correct Wearing Method

Wear the watch about 2 cm from the wrist bone for more accurate
heart rate measurement. -
Ensure the tightness of wearing allows room for the skin to
breathe and for the sensor to work properly. Insert a finger when
wearing to check the tightness. -
Regularly scrub the heart rate sensor on the back of the
watch. -
Take into account that skin color or tattoos on the wrist may
affect measurement accuracy.

Download and Login

Search for SMART-TIMEPRO in the App Store, Google Play, or scan
the QR code to download and install the app. -
Log in to the app and fill in correct gender, birthday, height,
weight, etc. Incorrect information can affect data accuracy.

For iOS
The following permissions are required for iOS:

Notifications: To receive notifications from the watch on your
iOS device. Path: Settings, SMART-TIMEPRO, open Notifications -
Health: To synchronize health data between the watch and your
iOS device. Path: Settings, SMART-TIMEPRO, open Health -
Contacts: To enable call functions, call records, and quick
contacts. This permission allows the watch to remind you of

I. Introduction

You will see the charging icon on the watch screen within 5s. (If the watch
does not respond when it is charged for the first time, it may be that the
battery is exhausted. It needs to be charged for more than half an hour to
activate the watch.) Charging fully may take 2 hours. You will see the battery
icon is full if the watch have been fully charged. *NOTE: Please clean the
mental contacts before charging for fear that the remaining sweat erode golden
metal contact or other risks.
1.4 Correct Wearing Method
The wearing position is the most influential factor. The correct wearing
position is about 2 cm from the wrist bone. In this position, the measured
heart rate is more accurate. 1) The tightness of wearing will also affect the
measurement results. You can insert a finger when wearing it. Not too tight,
not too loose, allowing room for the skin to breathe, not only for your
comfort, but also for the sensor to work properly.

2) Always scrub the heart rate sensor on the back. Sometimes different people
wear the same watch, and the error difference is relatively large, which is
because of this reason.
3) Skin color also has a great influence because it is transmitted through
optics. For dark skin or tattoos on the wrist, it is probably inaccurate.

2.1 Download and Login 1) Search for “SMART-TIMEPRO” in the App Store,
Google Play or scan the QR code to download and install the app. *NOTE: When
downloading apps, it is best to download them from the official app store.

2) Log in to the app and Please fill in the correct gender, birthday, height,
weight, etc. (*Incorrect information can affect the accuracy of data.)
2.2 The Functions of Various Permissions of SMART-TIMEPRO and where to open
2.2.1 For iOS
Eeryone must have discovered when using a smartphone that many apps will need
to obtain permissions for your contacts, photos, text messages, location, etc.
when they are used for the first time after downloading and installing. Why do
these apps need to obtain these permissions? Can we not allow it? In fact, the
purpose of each app to request different permissions is also different. Below
we will expand on the functions of these different permissions for different
systems running SMART-TIMEPRO.
(If you use the iOS system, please continue reading, and if you use the
Android system, please jump to the 2.2.2 to continue reading.)

- Location: Since our watch does not have GPS, we support assisted
positioning through the App. After the watch is in sports mode, if the
Bluetooth is connected normally and the App is running in the background, the
App will actively perform positioning to record the trajectory of the user
during exercise. And upload it to the app for users to observe the daily
movement trajectory. If you don’t need to record your movement track, you can
turn off the location permission, and the app will not record your movement

2) Contacts: The watch has call function, call records and quick contacts. The
watch will remind you of incoming calls, and the user can make calls on the
watch and save the address book on the watch, all of which require access to
the address book permission. If you do not need to receive incoming call
reminders and make Bluetooth calls, you can turn off this permission, and the
call function will not be available. Path: Settings, SMART-TIMEPRO, open

3) Photos: The app can select photo as the avatar from the phone’s photo
album, and the photos permission is required to take photos remotely and save
photos. If the app cannot obtain Photos permission, it will not be possible to
choose a photo from the camera roll as an avatar or save a photo. Path:

4) Bluetooth: The watch and the app are connected via Bluetooth, and Bluetooth
permission is required. If the app cannot obtain Bluetooth permission, it
cannot pair the watch. Bluetooth transmission is required for the watch to
receive calls, message reminders, and the app to synchronize the exercise and
health data monitored on the watch. *Bluetooth permission must be turned on.

5) Camera: The watch has the function of taking photos remotely, and you need
to obtain the permission of the camera before you can remotely control the
phone to take pictures. If you do not need to take pictures remotely, you can
turn off this permission, and you cannot use the remote photo taking function.

6) Siri & Search: The watch has a voice assistant function, which can wake up
Siri through the watch, and realize quick calls and play music through some
language commands. If this permission is not turned on, the watch will not be
able to wake up Siri. Path: Settings,SMART-TIMEPRO, Siri & Search, open all
permissions.

7) Background App Refresh: After it is turned on, the system will update the
latest version of SMART-TIMEPRO synchronously. Path: Settings , SMART-TIMEPRO
, open Background App Refresh.

8) Wireless Date: After it is turned on, the system will update the latest
version of SMART-TIMEPRO synchronously. Path: Settings, SMART-TIMEPRO,
Wireless Date, choose WLAN &Cellulor Data

- Call logs: The watch has call function, call logs and quick contacts. The
watch will save the call logs on the watch, so that you can quickly dial to
your latest call. If you do not need to make quick calls on watch, you can
turn off this permission, and the call function will not be available. Path:

4) Location: Since our watch does not have GPS, we support assisted

6) Physical activitys: Our watch can track sports data. You can choose to
enable/disable this permission, which will not affect the normal operation of
the app. Turning on this permission may track data more accurately. Path: Long

7) SMS: The watch has SMS reminder function. The phone needs to read the SMS
and push it to your watch. If you don’t need to receive SMS on the watch, you

8) Storage: The storage permission is a kind of permission to ensure that the
app can be used normally on the phone after the app is installed. The main
reason is that the APP can measure the storage space of the phone, so that we
can save data, save remote photos, and update the APP version. * If this
permission is not enabled, most functions will not work properly. Path: Long

2.2.2.2 Other Pemissions in SMART-TIMEPRO. 1) Notification permissions: Our
watch has a message notification function, incoming call notification, SMS
notification, various app notifications, etc., all of which require the app to
obtain notification permissions to push to the watch. If this permission is
not turned on, the watch will not receive notifications.properly. Path 1:

2) Ignore Battery Optimizations & Lock background running: Android phones will
automatically turn on battery optimization, which can increase battery usage
and save power after optimization. But our app needs to keep running in the
background at all times, so as to ensure the normal push of mobile phone
messages to the watch, as well as the transmission of data between the watch
and the mobile phone. So our app needs to ignore battery optimization and lock

III. Bluetooth Connection Method & Confirmation
3.1 Bluetooth Connection Method Turn on the bluetooth of your phone, enter
SMARTTIMEPRO , clickDevice , Add device,SOUYIE L1, then your watch will
vibrate, clickon the watch.
The Bluetooth pairing request and notifications request appear on your phone,
please click Pairand Yes

Click Nextuntil select push app appears, turn on the APP you want to receive
messages from. If the list does not have others app that you often use and
want to receive messages from, please remember to turn on Other APP.Then click
next until done. (Please always keep the SMART-TIMEPRO running in the
background, do not delete SMART-TIMERPRO running in the background)
3.2 Check if the Bluetooth connection is successful 1. Check on the watch to
see if your watch is connected. Turn on the watch screen, and swipe down to
see if the Bluetooth connection is successful.

2. On the mobile phone, check whether your mobile phone is connected to this
device.
You can take out your watch, turn on the screen, and swipe down to see if the
Bluetooth connection is successful.
Our watch has dual bluetooth, app bluetooth and voice bluetooth. 1) Blue: App
Bluetooth. It is mainly used for information reminders, call reminder, data
synchronization between watch and app. ( Please keep SMART-TIMEPRO running in
the background at all times, if you accidentally close the background running,
the app Bluetooth may be disconnected automatically.)

2) Orange: Voice Bluetooth. It is mainly used for using the voice assistant,
making calls, and playing music on the watch. The blue + orange connection
status is displayed on the watch, which means the connection is successful. If
all white, the watch is not connected at all. Please refer to 3.1 Bluetooth
Connection Method to reconnect. If only blue or only orange is displayed, the
watch can only perform the corresponding function, and the other function
cannot be used normally.
