Product Usage Instructions

Before using the 20630 Steam Iron, please read the following instructions carefully:

1. Fill the water tank with clean tap water. Do not exceed the maximum water level indicated.
2. Plug in the iron and set the temperature dial to the appropriate setting for your fabric. Refer to the fabric care label for guidance.
3. Allow the iron to heat up for a few minutes until the temperature indicator light turns off, indicating that it is ready for use.
4. Gently press the steam button to release the steam. Move the iron over the fabric in a smooth, gliding motion, applying light pressure. For stubborn wrinkles, use the steam burst function.

6. After use, unplug the iron and allow it to cool down. Empty any remaining water from the tank.

Usage Instructions

• Do not use descaler or scented water in any iron – it damages the steam generating material and may cause a brown discharge from the soleplate.

ANTI-SCALE

• The anti-scale agent incorporated in the iron helps prevent the build-up of scale.
• Don’t use a descaling solution, or you’ll destroy the anti-scale agent.
• You may use the iron with tap water, but if you live in a hard water area, you should use distilled water (not chemically descaled or softened water).
• If you buy distilled water, check that it’s suitable for use in irons.

SWITCH ON

1. Set the temperature control to the steam control.
2. Set the iron on its heel.
3. Put the plug into the power socket (switch the socket on, if it’s switchable).
4. Turn the temperature control to bring the setting you want next to the mark. The light will come on.
5. When the iron reaches the temperature you set, the light will go off. then cycle on and off as the thermostat operates to maintain the temperature.
