SanDisk HDR 64GB Ultra SDXC Card Instructions
Troubleshooting: a. There is a lock switch on the left side of the SD
card. Make sure the lock switch is slid up (unlocked position). You will not
be able to modify or delete the contents of the memory card if it is locked.
b. Since SDXC uses a different file system called exFAT and works
differently than standard SD cards, this
new format is NOT backwards compatible with host devices that only take SD
(128MB to 2GB) or devices hosts that only take SDHC (4GB to 32GB). Most host
devices built after 2010 should be SDXC compatible. IMPORTANT: Moving a
file using Cut and Paste will inherit the permissions set in the parent folder
and will be transferred to the destination folder. Using Copy and Paste will
not inherit permissions from the
destination folder and may cause access issues; such as Access Denied, Admin
Permission Required, or Folder Empty
vs. USB flash drives and SD cards with a capacity of 64 GB are formatted using
the FAT32 file system. FAT32 has a maximum file size limit of 4 GB. Format the
drive or card using a file system that supports files larger than 4 GB.
