Using the LED worklight
NOTICE
This tool is equipped with an LED worklight (F) that illuminates when the
variable speed trigger switch (G) is pressed. This provides additional light
on the surface of the workpiece for operation in lowlight areas (Fig. 7).
To switch on the LED work light (F), slightly press on the variable speed trigger switch (G) before the tool starts running. The LED work light (F) switches off automatically 8-12 seconds after the variable speed trigger switch (G) is released.
- When the tool and/or battery pack becomes overloaded or too hot, the internal sensors will switch the tool off. If the tool and/or battery pack are overloaded, the LED work light (F) flashes rapidly. Rest the tool for a while and let it cool down.
- The LED work light (F) flashes slowly to indicate that the battery is at low capacity. Recharge the battery pack.
Use
Before each use
-
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Depending on the application, use face shield, safety goggles or safety glasses. As appropriate, wear dust mask, hearing protectors and gloves (Fig. 8).
-
Check the tool and its accessories for damage. Do not use the tool if it is damaged or worn out.
-
Check for loose screws, misalignment or binding of moving parts, or any other condition that may affect the operation. If abnormal vibration or noise occurs, switch the tool off immediately and have the problem corrected before further use.
-
Check the condition of the battery pack. Charge the battery pack if needed.
-
Do not the battery pack if it is bulging or hot.
-
Always firmly hold the tool by its hand-grip (D). Keep the tool clean and wear clean to maintain a firm grip while in use.
use gloves that the ventilation openings are not obstructed. Obstructed ventilation openings can cause overheating. Clean the tool with compressed dry air if needed. -

-
Check tool down until surface and pull the tool out of your control.
-
Do not work continuously for extensive amounts of time with the tool. Take breaks in between work to ensure full concentration while using the tool.
Switching on/off
-
To switch the tool on: Set the forward/trigger off/reverse switch (C) through to the left or right stop, and then gently press the variable speed trigger switch (G) (Fig. 9).
-
To switch the tool off: Release the variable speed trigger switch (G).
NOTICE The speed of the tool can be adjusted by pressing the variable speed trigger switch (G) to varying extents. A light pressure on the trigger results in a low rotational speed. Increased pressure on the variable speed trigger switch (G) causes an increase in speed.
Driving Fasteners
Tips
NOTICE
- Drill a pilot hole when driving fastener in hard wood, or at or near the cross cut end or an edge of wood, in order to avoid cracking of the wood.
- Always use the correct type and size of drive bits with 1/4″ (6.35 mm) hex shank and power groove for the application.
NOTICE
The variable-speed control of the variable speed trigger switch (G) must be
used with caution. The correct procedure is to start slowly and increasing
speed as the fastener runs down. Set the fastener snugly by slowing the tool
to a stop. If this procedure is not followed, the tool will have a tendency to
torque or twist in your hands when the fastener seats.
DID YOU KNOW?
Torque is a turning or force that drives a fastener. The greater the torque the greater the force. Different type of materials require different amount of torque. This tool has a 140 N/m torque power which is suitable for driving in/out long fasteners.
NOTICE After tightening the fastener, the tool’s impact mechanism starts to “bump”. The maximum impact duration should not exceed 1-2 seconds.
- The working procedure is divided into two steps: 1. Driving and 2. Tightening (impact mechanism in action). The impact mechanism is activated as soon as the screwed connection is tight and therefore load is put on the motor (the power of the motor is transferred to steady rotary impacts).
- Only apply the tool to the fastener (screw/bolt or nut) when the tool is switched off. Rotating bits can slip off and damage the thread.
- During operation begin with a slow rotation speed and increase it in the course of work if needed. The rotation speed can be controlled by pressing the variable speed trigger switch (G) to varying extents.
- It is recommended to perform the first few turns manually by hand, key, or a screwdriver to ensure the correct driving of a fastener.
- In case of working with threaded components, do not exert too much pressure on the tool. This can lead to the damage of the thread.
- Before driving larger/longer fasteners it is advisable to drill a pilot hole.
- Always hold the tool perpendicularly to the fastener. Holding it at an angle may cause slipping or jamming of the fastener.
Driving fasteners in/out
- Set the correct driving direction using the forward/trigger off/reverse switch (C).
- Select and install the suitable drive bit with power groove.
- To start driving the fastener in/out, gently press the variable speed trigger switch (G). Begin with a slow rotation speed and increase it in the course of work if needed. The rotation speed can be controlled by pressing the variable speed trigger switch (G) to varying extents.
