Using Instructions
How to install a Professional Series 20/25 kHz Wide Band Entitlement Key
- Please follow these installation instructions EXACTLY.
- Please use Professional Series Current Version 06.12.09
- You must be connected to the internet with anti-virus and firewall turned off after a cold reboot.
- You should be using a relatively current version of the CPS, see the current version above.
- You must be using Windows 7 or 8 (Windows 7 is preferable)
- You must have all firewall and anti-virus turned off in order to communicate with the Motorola server. Please make sure no ports are blocked on your router.
- We are not responsible for any lost keys due to installation errors.
- This key is good for the life of the computer and only the computer you install it on, so please choose the computer wisely.
- In addition, this EID key is good for only one generation of the CPS, so please choose your application wisely.
Please follow these steps:
- Open an existing codeplug, Go to File, then Feature on the drop down
- Then register application feature, follow the prompts.
- Congratulations, you should have successfully installed your Motorola Professional Series CPS Wide Band Entitlement Key
- To verify installation, go to feature, view registration features, Under 20/25 channel bandwidth capability – status should read “registered”
