*Note: This USB-C port (power) supports USB-C PD laptop charging at 5V, 9V, 15V, and 20V output, and the USB-C power adapter is not supplied in the package.

Hardware Installation

  1. Connect the USB keyboard and mouse to the GCS1602CC USB Type A ports at front panel
  2. Connect the DisplayPort monitor to the GCS1602CC DisplayPort output port at rear panel.
  3. Connect the included USB-C cable from your USB-C computer to Port 1
  4. Connect the included USB-C cable from your USB-C computer to Port 2
  5. Connect the included remote port selector to the remote port selector jack
  6. Connect the included power adapter to GCS1602CC’s power jack1
  7. Connect to 2 USB peripherals, such external hard drive, printer, etc. to GCS1602CC USB type A port at front panel (optional)
  8. Connect additional external power adapter (USB-C) to Power (USB-C)2 port for PD laptop charging (optional)

Operation

  • Click on the remote port selector button to switch between the two connected USB-C devices. Port LED on top of GCS1602CC will light up, indicating which port is selected and has KVM focus on.
  • If you are experiencing any “no display” issue, press and hold the remote port selector for 3 seconds to switch between 2 lane DP and 4 lane DP modes. The port 1 and port 2 status LEDs flash once to indicate the GCS1602CC is switched to 2 lane mode, and flash twice to indicate the GCS1602CC is switched to 4 lane mode.
