COMMSCOPE ADCP-90-389 Rapid Fiber Single Cable Pulling Eye
Product Information
The Rapid Fiber Single Cable Pulling Eye is a device designed to provide a handle for pulling through a 12-fiber connector zed cable without damaging the connector. It consists of two sections that can be easily snapped together to securely lock them in place.
Product Usage Instructions
- To install the pulling eye, follow these steps
- Position the upper and lower sections of the pulling eye as shown in Figure 1.
- Ensure that the sections are aligned properly.
- Press the sections together firmly until they snap together.
- Verify that the pulling eye is securely locked in place.
- To remove the pulling eye after pulling the cable
- Insert a screwdriver or coin into the slot on the side of the pulling eye, as shown in Figure 1.
- Twist the screwdriver or coin to release the pulling eye tabs.
- Gently pull the pulling eye away from the cable.

INTRODUCTION
The Rapid Fiber single cable pulling eye provides a handle for pulling
through a 12-fiber connector zed cable without damaging the connector.
INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
- To install the pulling eye, position the upper and lower sections of the pulling eye as shown below, and snap the two sections together firmly to lock them in place.
- To remove the pulling eye (after pulling the cable), insert a screwdriver or coin into the slot on the side of the pulling eye, as shown below, and twist to release the pulling eye tabs.
