GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

  1. Read all instructions before using this heater.

  2. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock, or injury to persons.

  3. Make certain that the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the heater.

  4. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or pets and whenever the heater is left operating unattended. Adult supervision is required at all times and we do not recommend it is used by children.

  5. Only plug the heater into a plug socket with a suitable electrical voltage and power rating. Please check the specifications of this product for reference.

  6. Where possible, avoid the use of extension leads these pose a risk of overheating and causing fire.

  7. Do not operate any heater with a damaged power cable or operate the heater that has any noticeable defects. Return the heater to the authorized service centre for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair.

  8. Unplug the power cable before servicing or moving the heater. Always unplug the heater when not in use.
    WARNING: DO NOT DEPEND ON THE ON/OFF BUTTON AS THE SOLE MEANS OF DISCONNECTING POWER WHEN SERVICING OR MOVING THE HEATER. ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CABLE.

  9. Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign objects to enter any vents or exhaust opening, as it may cause an electric shock or fire or damage to the heater. Do not block or tamper with the heater in any manner whilst it is operating.

  10. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes and do not place the heater on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

  11. WARNING: in order to avoid overheating, do not cover the Heater.

  12. Always place the heater on a stable, flat, level surface when operating it to avoid the chance of the heater overturning. Place the power cable, so the heater or other objects are not resting on it. Do not run power cables under carpeting. Do not cover the power cable with throw rugs, runners, or similar items. Place the power cable away from room traffic and where it is not a trip hazard.

  13. This heater is hot when operating. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces on the heater. Always use the handle when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 900mm from the front of the heater and keep them at least 300m from the sides and rear.

  14. The heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. It must NOT be used in potentially dangerous locations such as flammable, explosive, chemical-laden or wet atmospheres. This heater is intended for general use ONLY.

  15. This Heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never place a heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

  16. Do not use the heater outdoors.

WARNING: REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRICAL SHOCK. DO NOT USE THIS HEATER WITH ANY SOLID-STATE SPEED CONTROL DEVICES.

REMOTE CONTROL

  1. Install one CR2025 lithium battery.
  2. The Remote-Control Power button is labeled as such. All the functions performed with the Remote-Control work identically to the Manual Controls.
  3. When the remote control is not being used, stock it in remote control storage slot at back of the heater (See FIGURE 1A)

OPERATION

The HEATER may be operated by the manual controls located on the HEATER (as shown in FIGURE 2) or by your remote control (shown in FIGURE 1).

  1. Place the Heater on a stable flat surface.
  2. Set the Main Power Switch to OFF position “O”. Plug the Power Cord into an a.a.c.220V-240V electrical outlet. Turn the Main Power Switch to ON position “O” LED displays the current room Temperature, and the heater is ready to use. (Power switch location see FIGURE 3),
  3. Power: Touch the “ ” key, and the heater will start blowing out warm air, and the LED will display “LO”. Touch one more time, and the heater will stop running after 30S.
  4. Mode: Touching the “ ” key will set the Heater into different Modes: FAN,LOW HEAT,HIGH HEAT and AUTO MODE.
    • FAN-the LED display ”FA”.
    • LOW HEAT-the LED display ”LO”.
    • HIGH HEAT-the LED display ”HI”.
    • AUTO MODE-the LED display ”AU” from 15°C – 35°C. one time,
    • Remark: Room temperature will be displayed after 10s of setting the mode.
  5. OSCILLATION FUNCTION: This function will work in any mode. Touching the key will allow the heater to oscillate side by side. To stop the oscillation, touch the OSC key again.
  6. TIMER FUNCTION: When the heater is ON, touch the “ ”key to increase or decrease the length of operating time from 1-8 hours, and the LED will display the set hour.
  7. SET TEMP: when the heater is in the AUTO MODE only, the LED display will flash on:
    • Touch the “ ”key to increase the desired temperature and “ ”key to decrease the desired temperature. Working temperature:15-35°C
    • When the air temperature reaches the “SET TEMP”, the heater will cut off.
    • When the air temperature drops below the “SET TEMP”, the heater will turn back on.
    • Note: It is normal for the heater to cycle ON and OFF as it maintains the “SET TEMP”
  8. ION FUNCTION: Touch “ ”key to open the Ionizer function . Touch one more time , close the Ionizer function .

SAFETY FEATURES

  1. A thermal overload protector is built-in to prevent overheating.
  2. When the heater overheats, it will be shut off automatically.
    • To RESET the Heater: Unplug the Heater and wait for 30 minutes for it to cool down.
    • Turn ON the Heater again to resume operation.

MAINTENANCE

  • WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER LEAD BEFORE MOVING OR SERVICING THE HEATER
  • DO NOT IMMERSE THE HEATER IN WATER
  • CLEANING: IMPORTANT! DO NOT IMMERSE THE HEATER IN WATER! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE APART THE HEATER. DO NOT REMOVE ITS GRILL.
  • CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. as they will damage the heater. NEVER use ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS TO CLEAN THE HEATER.
  • STORAGE: Store the Heater with these instructions in the original packaging in a cool, dry place.
  • WARNING: The Main Power Switch and the On/Off switch should not be used as the sole means of disconnecting power. Always unplug the power cable before servicing or moving the unit.
  • WARNING: To avoid the danger of electric shock, unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent in order to avoid a hazard.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
