- This appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Make sure that the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the heater.
- Do not depend on the on/off button as the sole means of disconnecting power when servicing or moving the heater. Always unplug the power cord.
- Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into any ventilation or exhaust opening as it may cause electric shock, fire, or damage to the heater. Do not block or tamper with the heater while it is in operation.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner, and do not place the heater on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- Do not attempt to replace the power cord by yourself. Ask a professional operator for help. In case of malfunction or abnormal operation, do not attempt to open or repair the appliance at home. Send the heater to an appointed service agent for inspection and repair.
- Do not cover the heater at any time when operating to avoid overheating.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION

Read all instructions before using the heater.

Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommend-ed by the manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock, or injury to persons.

Make certain that the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the Heater.

This appliance should not be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge. Children should not play with the appliance.

O nly insert the plug into the appropriate compatible socket.

Where possible, avoid the use of extension cords because the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. If they must be used, minimize the risk of overheating by ensuring that they are BSI Compliant and VDE listed, a minimum H05VV-F 2*0.75mm2, rated not less than 1550 watts. Never use a single extension cord to operate more than one heater.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Unplug the power cord before servicing or moving the heater. Always unplug the heater when not in use.
WARNING : DO NOT DEPEND ON THE ON/OFF BUTTON AS THE SOLE MEANS OF DISCONNECTING POWER WHEN SERVICING OR MOVING THE HEATER. ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. -

Always place the Heater on a stable, flat, level surface when operating, to avoid the chance of the Heater overturning. Locate the Power Cord so the Heater or other objects are not resting on it. Do not run the power cord under the carpeting. Do not cover the Power Cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange the Power Cord away from room traffic and where it will not be tripped over.

This Heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Always use the handle when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 1200mm from the front of the heater and keep them at least 500mm from the sides and rear.

All heaters have hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. It must NOT be used in potentially dangerous locations such as flammable, explosive, chemical-laden or wet atmospheres. This Heater is intended for general use ONLY.

This Heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never locate a Heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

Do not use the Heater outdoors, in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.

CAUTION : To avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

Preparation before operating
- Check if the electrical voltage of the main supply and the load of the socket match the rated voltage and power marked on the rating label of the appliance.
- Check if the socket and the plug are undamaged and put the plug well in the socket.
- Put the appliance on a stable and flat surface for no risk of falling down.
Operation instructions
- Turn the thermostat switch to the minimal value, at the same time turn the heat select switch to the “0” position (See FIGURE 1).
- Plug in the appliance and turn the thermostat switch to the maximum position. Then turn the heat select switch to choose air or warm air and the temperature of warm air as below. While working the indicator light will be ON.
- Turn the heat select switch to “ “position, the heater blows cool air.
- Turn the heat select switch to “I” position, the heater blows warm air.
- Turn the heat select switch to “II” position, the heater blows warm air.
- Turn the heat select switch to “0” position, the heater stops working, the indicator light will be off .
- Adjust the thermostat switch to suitable position for desired temperature setting.
- When you feel the room temperature comfortable, turn the thermostat switch anti-clockwise slowly to the minimal position until the appliance stops working.
- Model:PH1808ST OSCILLATION FUNCTION: This function will work in any mode. Pressing the OSC button ” ” will allow the Heater to oscillate side by side. To stop the oscillation, press the OSC button once more “ “, Model:PH1808T, no oscillation function.
- The heater features a tip-over safety device. If the heater were to fall over the heater will stop. If this happens turn the heater off at the wall, place the heater upright making sure it cannot fall over again. Turn the heater off using its on/off button, turn the wall socket back on and turn the heater back on and it will start working again.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

WARNING : WARNING ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD BEFORE MOVING, OR SERVICING. DO NOT IMMERSE THE HEATER IN WATER.

CLEANING : IMPORTANT! DO NOT IMMERSE THE HEATER IN WATER! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE APART THE HEATER OR REMOVE THE GRILL.
CAUTION : DO NOT USE PETROL, BENZENE, THINNER, HARSH CLEANERS etc AS THEY WILL DAMAGE THE HEATER. NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS. -
STORAGE : STORE THE HEATER WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE ORIGNAL BOX IN A COOL AND DRY PLACE.
- Before you turn off the appliance, turn the heat select switch to the “ ”position. After operating for 3 to 5 minutes to lower the internal temperature of appliance, and then turn the heat select switch to “0” position.
- Clean the air inlet and air outlet of the appliance regularly (at least twice a year normally).
- Before you clean the appliance, turn off the heater first, then remove the plug from the socket, and wait until the appliance cools down.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the surface of appliance, avoid water going inside the appliance, dry the appliance before use or store.
WARNING : The Main Power Switch and the On/Off switch should not be used
as the sole means of disconnecting power. Always unplug the power cord before
servicing or moving the unit.
WARNING : To avoid danger of electric shock, unplug from outlet when not
in use and before cleaning. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufactory or it’s service agent or a similarity qualified person to
avoid a hazard.
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.

- Always disconnect your fan before cleaning it.
- Never spray with liquids or submerge the heater in water or any other liquid.
