The CJ9787-000 | FIST-GCO2-FD6-NN is a single-ended, O-ring sealed dome closure designed for splicing feeder and distribution cables. It is compatible with most common cable types, including loose tube, central core, and ribbon fiber. The closure features a universal mounting system (UMS) that provides a foundation for mounting combinations of FIST splice trays. It can be used in aerial, pedestal, and underground environments up to 5 meters. Additionally, it is compatible with CommScope’s CWDM modules and optical splitter trays.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the CJ9787-000 | FIST-GCO2-FD6-NN dome closure, follow these steps:

  1. Select a suitable mounting location for the closure based on your specific application, such as aerial, pedestal, or underground environments.
  2. Ensure that the closure is compatible with the cable types you are using, such as loose tube, central core, or ribbon fiber.
  3. If required, use the optional gel kit for cable sealing.
  4. Open the closure by releasing the latches and separating the base and dome.
  5. Insert the cables into the appropriate ports. The closure has 1 oval port for 2 cables and 6 round ports.
  6. If using splice trays, mount them in the closure’s universal mounting system (UMS) profiles.
  7. If applicable, install CommScope’s CWDM modules or optical splitter trays according to their respective instructions.
