The CJ9787-000 | FIST-GCO2-FD6-NN is a single-ended, O-ring sealed dome closure designed for splicing feeder and distribution cables. Product Usage Instructions
To use the CJ9787-000 | FIST-GCO2-FD6-NN dome closure, follow these steps:
- Select a suitable mounting location for the closure based on your specific application, such as aerial, pedestal, or underground environments.
- Ensure that the closure is compatible with the cable types you are using, such as loose tube, central core, or ribbon fiber.
- If required, use the optional gel kit for cable sealing.
- Open the closure by releasing the latches and separating the base and dome.
- Insert the cables into the appropriate ports. The closure has 1 oval port for 2 cables and 6 round ports.
- If using splice trays, mount them in the closure’s universal mounting system (UMS) profiles.
- If applicable, install CommScope’s CWDM modules or optical splitter trays according to their respective instructions.
