Product Usage Instructions
Load Paper:
Place thermal paper as shown in the diagram above.
Printer Start-up:
- Press the POWER button to switch on the printer.
- To print a list of possible operations, click once on the button in the control panel.
- To carry out the self-test, switch the printer off and on by holding down the button on the control panel, then after 3 seconds, release the button.
Network Configuration:
- Open your browser and type in the address bar: 192.168.10.1
- Set the configuration according to the page prompt.
- After accepting the changes, switch the printer off and on again. After a few seconds, double-click the button on the control panel to receive information about the IP address of the printer.
Weighing Precision Parameters:
The following parameters are displayed:
- Supplementary unit
- Gross Tare Product

- Date and Time
- Various measurements such as liquid, temperature, vibrations, air humidity, air pressure, and air density

OPERATION LIST
Printer start-up
- POWER button
- Button of the control panel
- To switch the printer on, press the POWER button.
- To print a list of possible operations, click once on the button in the control panel.
- To carry out the self-test, switch the printer off and on by holding down the button on the control panel, then after 3 seconds, then release the button.
Using a printer with an Wi-Fi® connection
- To start a hotspot with the printer, click the button on the right side of the control panel 5 times.
- This enables a direct connection between the printer and the scale. If the printer does not print data as below, the procedure must be repeated.
- Using a computer, phone or other mobile device, select the connection named RTP-UEW80 from the list of available Wi-Fi® connections.
- Once connected to the RTP-UEW80 printer’s hitspot, enter the address 192.168.10.1 in a web browser or scan the QR code available on the front of the printer to access the Wi-Fi® connection configuration page.
- After pressing the REFRESH button, select the Wi-Fi® network to which the scale and printer will be connected in the login window. Then select the SUBMIT button.
- After accepting the changes, switch the printer off and on again. After a few seconds, double-click the button on the control panel to receive information about the IP address of the printer.
WI-FI® PRINTER CONNECTION TO 5Y ELLIPSIS SERIES BALANCES
- Pull up the top menu.
- Select Settings in the top menu.
- Select Communication.
- Select Wi-Fi.
- Select Available networks.
- Select the Refresh button.
- If the list of available Wi-Fi® networks is not displayed, repeat steps 5 and 6.
- Select the appropriate Wi-Fi® network.
- Enter the password for the Wi-Fi® network and press .
- Once you have correctly connected to the previously selected Wi-Fi® network, close the information window with . If the information window does not appear, repeat steps 6 and 7.
- To return to the home screen, select .
- Repeat steps 1 and 2.
- Select Peripherals.
- Select Printer.
- Select port: TCP Client.
- Select IP address.
- Enter the IP address obtained after connecting the printer with the Wi-Fi® network (see 4.2.5.).
- Then enter:
- Port: 9100, Keep TCP
- Connection active: No;
- Code page (default): 1250;
- Control codes: none;
- Receipt printer speed: 0,
- Print: skip.
- Care should be taken to enter the IP address correctly, especially when using IP addresses such as 192.168.3.6 or 10.10.2.86. The examples given should be entered by filling in the missing fields with zeros.
- Correct notation: 192.168.003.006 i 010.010.002.086.
- Return to the main screen by selecting the button .
- Verify correct communication with (Print) button.
- Once the conditions for validating the result have been met, the printer should print a printout.
WI-FI® PRINTER CONNECTION TO X2 SERIES BALANCES

Select Settings in the bottom menu.

Select Communication.

Select Wi-Fi®.

Make sure Wi-Fi® is selected.

Select Network configuration.

Select Network Search.

Select the appropriate Wi-Fi® network.

Enter the password for the Wi-Fi® network and confirm .

Once connected, press to return to settings.

Select Peripherals.

Select Port settings.

Enter the IP address obtained after connecting the printer to the Wi-Fi® network (see 4.2.5.). Then select Port: 9100, Timeout: 0.

Return to the printer settings (screen 13).
Select: Code Page 1250 (default for the printer),- Prefix: none,
- Suffix: none,
- Print width: standard.

Return to main screen with . Verify correct communication with (Print). Once the conditions for validation of the result have been met, the printer should print a printout.
WI-FI® PRINTER CONNECTION TO R SERIES BALANCES
- Select Setup.
- Use F1 to go to Communications and confirm with F2.
- Use F1 to go to Wi-Fi® and confirm with F2.
- Use F1 to select: YES and confirm with F2.
- Use F1 to go to Select Wi-Fi® and confirm with F2.
- Use F1 to select the Wi-Fi® network to which the scale
- Enter password with F1 and F2, then confirm .
- If the Wi-Fi® network password contains lower case letters, an external USB keyboard must be used.
- The F1, F3 and F4 keys next to the scale display allow you to enter a password consisting of capital letters and alphanumeric characters only.
- Use F1 to go to DHCP: YES and select F2.
- Check connection status. Use F1 to move to Status. When the connection is correct, the scale will display Status: connected.
- Select F4 several times to return to Settings.
- Use F1 to go to Devices and confirm with F2.
- Use F1 to go to Printers and confirm with F2.
- Use F1 to move to the Port and confirm with F2.
- Use F1 to go to Wi-Fi® and confirm with F2.
- Use F1 to move to the port set and confirm with F2.
- Select F2 to enter the printer IP.
- Using F1, F3 and F2, enter the IP address obtained after connecting the printer to the Wi-Fi® network and confirm . Take care to enter the IP address correctly, especially if you are using IP addresses such as 192.168.3.6 or 10.10.2.86. Enter the examples given by filling in the missing fields with zeros. - Use F1 to move to port no. and confirm with F2. Use F1, F3 and F2 to enter 09100 and select . Select F4.
- Select F4 to return to Printer.
- Use F1 to move to Prefix and confirm with F2. Delete all values with the Delete key. Accept with the button .
- Use F1 to move to Suffix and select F2. Delete all values with the Delete key. Accept with the button .
- Use F1 to move to Print Width. Select F2 and set with F1 Standard. Accept with the button .
- Select F4 several times to return to the mass display screen. Check correct communication with Once the conditions for validation of the result have been met, the printer should print a printout.
USING A PRINTER CONNECTED TO AN ETHERNET NETWORK
- The printer connects to the Wi-Fi® interface by default when it starts up. To change the interface to Ethernet, press the button on the control panel twice, then click the button again within 8 seconds. After the beep, press the button twice to receive a printout confirming the network connection via the Ethernet interface.
- After selecting the Ethernet interface, connect the scale and the printer to the same Ethernet network. The printer will automatically be assigned an IP address (thanks to DHCP enabled). To obtain a printout with the IP address, press the button on the control panel 2 times 10 seconds after switching on the printer.
USING A PRINTER CONNECTED TO THE BALANCE VIA RS232
- To connect the printer to the scale via the RS232 interface, the following parameters must be set on the scale:
- Baud rate: 9600b bit/s,
- Data bits: 8,
- Stop bits: 1,
- Parity: none.
