Product Information

The CMAX Antennas are a series of antennas designed for various applications. The specific models included in this installation guide are CMAX-DM22S-43-V53, CMAX-DM22S-D-V53, CMAX-DM30-43-V53, CMAX-DM60-43-V53, CMAX-DM30-43-UWI53, CMAX-DM60-43-UWI53, and\ CMAX-DMW3030-43I53.

These antennas come with different mounting options and can be installed on walls or poles. The installation requires basic tools such as a wrench with a width of 13 mm.

Assembly

To assemble the antenna, follow these steps:

  1. Fit the three parts together: screw, spring washer, and washer.
  2. Fasten the parts with screws M8 x 16, washers, and spring washers. Apply a torque of 27 Nm.

Wall Mounting

To mount the antenna on a wall, follow these steps:

  1. Mark four holes onto the wall as shown in the provided drawing.
  2. Drill four holes into the wall and insert appropriate dowels into the holes.
  3. Attach the antenna pedestal to the wall.

Pole Mounting (200 mm max. pole diameter)

Pole Mounting with Lashing Straps (suggestion)

Note: This procedure is for reference only. Other materials can be used to mount the bracket and antenna to a pole. Make sure the installation can support the load.

  1. Lay proper lashing straps around the pole and lead them through the mounting bracket.
  2. Adjust the bracket in the antenna direction and fasten it securely.

Optional Pole Mounting Kit

An optional pole-mounting kit (ID 7814722) can be ordered separately. The recommended pole diameter for this kit is 60 – 150 mm. Follow these steps to mount the antenna using the kit:

  1. Insert four bolts M8x200 and four filet washers into the antenna mounting bracket.
  2. Insert the pole mounting bracket into the bolts and place filet washers, spring washers, and M8 nuts over each bolt.
  3. Tighten the four M8 nuts with a torque of 27 Nm.
  4. Hang the safety wire and attach it to a suitable structure for fall protection.
