Product Information
The Earpads for Sony WH-1000XM3 are replacement ear cushions designed specifically for the Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones. These earpads are made of high-quality materials to provide comfort and durability. They are easy to install and ensure a secure fit to enhance your listening experience.
Product Usage Instructions
- Remove Old Pads:
- Gently insert a flat, blunt tool (such as a blunt knife, metal ruler, or credit card) between the earpad and headphone body.
- Carefully twist the tool back and forth to loosen the pad. Repeat this around the pad until it comes free.
- Optional: Remove the foam pad and clean it before installing the new pads. Please note that replacement foam is not included.
- Insert Foam Pad:
- Remember to re-insert the foam pad before installing the new earpad.
- Get To Know The Earpads:
- Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the earpads.
- The top part of the earpad should be positioned at the top of the earcup, and the bottom part should be positioned at the bottom of the earcup.
- Install Replacement Earpad:
- Place the earpad onto the earcup, ensuring correct orientation.
- Make sure the earpad is oriented correctly before proceeding.
- Push down firmly on the earpad in all six locations. You may hear a small click when it is properly in place.
- Ensure that all tabs are correctly inserted. Some tabs may require more force to insert than others.

Pads are secured via 6 click-in tabs .
Remove Old Pads

Gently insert a flat, blunt tool between the earpad and headphone body A.

Carefully twist your tool back and forth until the pad starts to break loose, repeat around the pad until it comes free.

At this point you may like to remove the foam pad B and clean it before installing your new pads.
(Replacement foam NOT included)
Insert Foam Pad -
Remember to re-insert the foam before installing the new pad.
Get To Know The Earpads -
Ensure you orientate the earpad correctly before installing.
Install Replacement Earpad -
Place the earpad onto the earcup ensure correct orientation.

Push down on the earpad firmly in all 6 locations – a small click may be heard when in place. Place the earpad onto the earcup ensure correct orientation. Ensure all tabs are correctly inserted, some may take a little more force than others.
