How to switch the drone on and connect it to the remote control
- Press and hold the lock key ( ), and then activate the controller by sliding the on/off switch (fig. 28). The controller will emit a sound. The signal indicator on the display will start flashing. It will mean the controller is ready for pairing.
- Activate the drone by pressing the on/off switch for three seconds (fig. 29). The drone will emit a sound and the rear LED will go on. The signal indicator on the display will stop flashing – it will mean the end of pairing.
Connecting the remote control to the drone is a one-time operation and not required for another use. You can connect the remote control to the drone only if the controller is not connected to any other drone. If there are a few kinds of drone and controller in one place, pairing must be performed one after another for each set to avoid wrong pairing.
How to calibrate the gyroscope
NOTE: the drone has already been calibrated. It is not necessary to recalibrate it, unless you experience take-off difficulties. After connecting to the remote control, place the drone on a flat and horizontal surface, and then point both sticks on the controller at the bottom left corner (fig. 30). When the LED light stops flashing fast, it will mean the calibration is finished.
How to calibrate the compass
NOTE: The compass calibration must be preceded by the gyroscope calibration. The calibration must be performed before every flight and also after replacing batteries into new or after inserting it into the product. After you switch it off and back on, the drone automatically enters the compass calibration mode. To enter the compass calibration mode, point two sticks on the controller at the bottom right corner (fig. 31).
-
Horizontal calibration
The rear LED in the horizontal calibration mode will flash alternately in yellow. Hold the drone and revolve horizontally on its axis about three times. When the calibration is correct, the LED will start flashing in green (fig. 32). -
Vertical calibration
Hold the drone vertically (with the camera facing upwards) and rotate it on its axis about three times. When the calibration is correct, the LED will glow constantly (fig. 33).
NOTE!
- Make sure the GPS signal is strong (at least 7 satellites) and flight takes place in a safe space.
- Do not calibrate the compass in a strong magnetic field.
- When calibrating, do not carry any magnetic items (e.g. keys, mobile phones).
- When calibrating, keep a distance from large metal objects.
How to lock and unlock the drone
To unlock the drone, short press the lock key ( ). Motors will start and the
drone will be unlocked (fig. 34).
You can lock the drone in two ways:
- When the drone lands on the ground, point the throttling valve stick downwards for about 3 seconds. Motors will stop and the drone will be locked.
- The drone will deactivate on its own if you fail to take any action for 15 seconds after it unlocks.
NOTE! Do not deactivate drone motors with key while it is flying because the drone will fall.
Emergency stop:
If the drone is up to 15 meters away and up to 5 m high, keep the lock key ( )
pressed for about 3 seconds. Motors will deactivate and the drone will be
locked. Do not use this option during a regular flight. This locking method is
intended for emergency!

Flight modes
-
GPS mode
In this mode, the drone hovers by receiving GPS signals. In case of weak GPS signal, the device enters the permanent altitude mode or optimeter mode. In case of weak GPS signal, please land instantly due to the accident risk. -
Optical Flow mode
The drone is equipped with a vision system which allows effective control in case of a weak GPS signal. Due to the nature of its operation, it is necessary to use it mainly in enclosed rooms. This mode for setting the position adopts the built-in extra optimal sensor (A, fig. 5), and is the most effective at the height of up to 3 meters (fig. 6).
There are several factors which determine quality of the vision system. If some of them fail, the vision mode will deactivate and the drone will enter the permanent altitude mode. Please be very careful in the following situations:
- High-speed flight at the height of up to 0,5m,
- Flight above uniform-color surfaces,
- Flight above water or transparent objects,
- Flight above moving elements (e.g. above a crowd of people),
- Flight above surfaces in which light fluctuates,
- Flight above extremely bright or very dark surfaces,
- Flight above surfaces with a recurring pattern (e.g. above a paved path)
- Flight above objects inclined at the angle of more than 30 degrees,
If the drone is only a meter above the ground, its speed must not exceed 5 m/s. If it is 2 meters above the ground, it should not be faster than 14 m/s.
- Keep sensors clean.
- This system works properly only if the drone is at the maximum height of 3 m.
- Fly in well-illuminated areas above elements with clear textures to make sure drone sensors can properly collect information about the location of the product.

Return home
Thanks to the return home function, the drone can return to the last saved
spot („home”). There are three modes in this function: return home, emergency
return, and return on low battery.
The saved spot is the place from which the drone takes off. To make sure this spot is properly saved, GPS signal must be strong enough (at least 7 connected satellites at the takeoff). The indicator light glows in green.
-
Return home
If the GPS signal is good (more than 7 satellites) and the take-off spot has been saved, press the return key ( ). Press the key again to leave the return function. -
Return home on low battery
This mode activates when the drone battery is so low that its ability to return to the spot marked as „home” may be affected.
When rear LEDs flash slowly in red, the battery indicator shows a low level ( ), the remote control emits short signals and the drone is at the height of more than 30 meters or at a distance of more than 100 meters from the remote control, the drone will go back to the starting point automatically.
When rear LEDs flash fast in red, the battery indicator shows that it is flat ( ), the remote control emits short signals and the drone is at the height of more than 15 meters or at a distance of more than 15 meters from the remote control, the drone will go back to the starting point automatically. If the distance is lower than 15 meters, the drone will land in the starting point. -
Emergency return
If the GPS signal is good (more than 7 satellites) and the take-off spot has been saved, the emergency return will activate automatically when the remote control loses connection to the drone for more than 6 seconds. You can regain control over the drone if the remote control regains connection and you press the return key.
NOTE:
- During the emergency return, you cannot avoid obstacles by controlling the drone.
- The drone will not return to the starting point if the GPS signal is weak (below 7 satellites).
- If during the smart return the user wants to lift the drone to the height of 15 meters or more, the drone will stop going up and activate the emergency return procedure.
- If the GPS signal is not good (below 7 satellites) during the take-off, and the drone loses connection to the remote control for more than 6 seconds, the drone will slowly go down and get locked after landing.
Camera
- The camera has a stable single-axing gimbal which stabilizes the image, even in case of a high-speed flight. The camera angle can be adjusted with the use of a knob (10, fig. D). A default angle ranges from -90° to 0° (fig. 7).
- Before the flight, please place the device in the open and flat area. Do not touch the gimbal after you have started the drone.
- The gimbal contains precise pieces which can get damaged in case of impact of external forces, which may affect its operation. Carefully handle the gimbal.
- Keep the gimbal clean and away from potential sources of dirt, sand, stones, etc., due to blocking risk.
- Placing the drone on an uneven surface or grass, you expose the gimbal to impact and damage.
- Do not add any elements to the gimbal. It may affect operation of the device, or even cause the motor to burn.
Storage battery
Before the first use, please charge the storage battery completely. Make sure you use a USB power cable (supplied). The charging time is about 180 minutes. Low battery: one bar on the storage battery flashes, other remain inactive.
- Charging: one of the bars on the storage battery flashes, other bars show a current battery status.
- Full battery: all bars on the storage battery glow constantly. Recommended adapter: 5V 2A (fig. 9). The aforesaid information is based on use of the adapter 5V 2A.
