Milesight TS30X Temperature Sensor
Product Information
The TS30x Temperature Sensor is a versatile device that allows for accurate temperature measurement in various settings. It comes with a range of optional accessories, including a PT100 Temperature Probe, a Magnet Switch Sensor with 3M Tapes and Mounting Screws, and a Glass Bead Thermal Buffer Bottle. The sensor features an LCD display with an NFC area, a Type-C USB port for connectivity, and various buttons for different functions.

Button Descriptions:
- Power Button: Press and hold for more than 3 seconds to power on/off the device. Quick press once to refresh the latest temperature of the current channel. Quick press twice to switch the temperature display between channels (only applicable to TS302 with two temperature sensors).
- Reset Button: Press and hold for more than 10 seconds to reset the device to factory default settings.
Configuration Guide
To configure the device, you can use either the Milesight ToolBox App on an NFC-supported smartphone or the ToolBox software on a computer with a type-C USB connection. Follow the respective steps below:
Using Milesight ToolBox App (Android or iOS):
- Download the Milesight ToolBox App on an NFC-supported smartphone.
- Open the app and attach the NFC area of the smartphone to the device.
- Click “NFC Read” to read the device and click “Write” to configure the device settings.
- It is recommended to change the default password (123456) for security reasons.
Using ToolBox Software on a Computer:
- Download the ToolBox software from the Milesight official website.
- Remove the USB waterproof plug from the bottom of the device and connect it to the computer using a type-C USB cable.
- Open the ToolBox software and select the type “General” and the serial port as “USB port”.
- Type the login password (default: 123456) to log in to the device for checking and configuring settings.
- It is recommended to change the default password for security reasons.
Installation:
- Fix the wall plugs to a flat surface according to the device’s mounting holes.
- Securely attach the device to the wall plugs using screws.
- Position the LCD display vertically on the ground below eye level for clear visibility.
- Cover the screws with cover caps.
Magnet Switch Installation:
Option 1: Fix the two magnet parts with 3M tape.
Option 2: Fix the two magnet parts with screws. Ensure proper alignment.
Thermal Buffer Bottle Installation:
Unplug the stopper inside the bottle cap, then restore the cap and insert the PT100 probe into the bottle. Place the bottle in locations like freezers and refrigerators for more accurate temperature measurement.

Configuration Guide
Method 1: Configured by NFC
- Download the “Milesight ToolBox” App on an NFC-supported smartphone.
- Open the “Milesight ToolBox” App and attach the NFC area of the smartphone to the device.
Click “NFC Read” to read the device and click “Write” to configure the device settings. It’s suggested to change the default password for security reasons. (Default password: 123456)
Method 2: Configured by USB
- Download ToolBox software from Milesight’s official website.
- Remove the USB waterproof plug from the bottom of the device, and connect it to the computer via a type-C USB cable. After connecting, the PDF file can be exported directly from the USB drive folder.
- Open ToolBox software, select type as “General” and select the serial port as USB port, then type the login password (Default password: 123456) to log in to the device to check and configure a device. It’s suggested to change the default password for security reasons.
Installation
Device Installation
- Fix the wall plugs to a flat surface according to the device mounting holes, then secure the device to the wall plugs using screws. When installing, please ensure the LCD display is positioned vertically on the ground below eye level for clear visibility of the content.

Fix the two magnet parts with 3M tape or screws, the two parts should be aligned.
Thermal Buffer Bottle
It is necessary to unplug the stopper inside the bottle cap, then restore the
cap and insert the PT100 probe into the bottle. When using, it can be placed
to places like freezers and refrigerators to ensure more accurate temperature
measurement

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment.
This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of
20cm between the radiator& your body.
This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any
