- Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and at the point where they exit from the apparatus.

- Disconnecting from mains: Switching off the POWER switch all the functions and light indicators of the amplifier will be stopped, but fully disconnecting the device from mains is done by unplugging the power cord from the mains input socket. For this reason, it always shall remain readily operable.
- Equipment is connected to a socket outlet with an earthing connection by means of a power cord.
- The marking information is located at the bottom of the apparatus.
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

INTRODUCTION
- Ecler VEO-SPH42 is a professional 1×2 HDMI 2.0 distribution amplifier/splitter. It supports HDR formats and HDMI data rates up to 18Gbps, with 4K/UHD@60Hz video resolution and 4:4:4 chroma sampling.
- It includes EDID management in three different modes and it is HDCP 2.2 compliant. VEO-SPH42 guarantees seamless integration for all applications that require the latest 4K/UHD and HDR sources and displays.

PANEL DESCRIPTION
Front and Rear Panel
- EDID Function Switch: Copy mode In this mode display connected to Out1 will receive a copy of EDID information negotiated by Out2.
- EDID Function Switch: Auto mode EDID information is managed by VEO-SPH42 as listed in the table in paragraph 7.
- EDID Function Switch: Mixed mode EDID settings will follow the highest common resolution supported by the display connected to Out2, in order to ensure compatibility between all displays.

CONNECTION AND INSTALLATION
- Connect HDMI signal source (such as PC, Blu-ray player, etc) to VEO-SPH42 HDMI input port.
- Connect VEO-SPH42 HDMI output ports to displays.
- Power up VEO-SPH42, displays, and sources.
Note:
- HDCP version is prior to EDID: when the source is HDCP 2.2 compliant, the 4K@60Hz EDID settings will be accepted only if displays are HDCP 2.2 compliant, otherwise, output will be set automatically to 1080p@60Hz
Please check the following table:
HDR formats are not supported when VEO-SPH42 is in “Auto” mode.
