INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION

Plug one end of the line cord into the telephone line plug from the service provider. Pick up the handset and listen to the dial tone. Your phone is now ready for use.
HOW TO USE THE TELEPHONE This is a tone/pulse switchable telephone, when in pulse mode, the dynamic change over to tone mode is done by using the ” key. Set the dialing mode by the T/P switch permanently.
LAST NUMBER REDIAL: To redial the last number dialed
RINGER VOLUME SWITCH: set the ringer volume level switch to ON/OFF as desired.
FLASH: The flash key is used to access the facility offered by some
EPABX or network service provider such as call waiting, call transfer, etc.

PRECAUTIONS

Install the phone in a dust-free and non-corrosive environment. Do not drop the phone on hard surfaces. Wipe the telephone with a soft cloth. Don’t use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean your phone. Do not twist or pull the telephone cord too hard. Do not use an electrical plug so as not to have a connection accidentally to AC mains, connection to AC Mains will severely damage the telephone.

WARRANTY

This Beetel telephone instrument is warranted for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Any defective instrument will be repaired by Beetel Teletech Limited (hereinafter referred to as ‘the company) free of charge within the period of warranty subject to the following conditions

  1. This warranty card must be duly filled in, stamped, and signed by the dealer. The card and the relevant cash memo must be preserved & produced along with the defective unit.

  2. Once the defective unit is repaired during the said warranty period, the warranty shall thereafter continue only for the unexpired period to the original warranty.

  3. This warranty is not valid for
    a) Damage resulting from accident, mishandling, negligence, tampering, unauthorized repair, failure to follow instructions, lightning fire, flood, and acts of God.
    b) Item not purchased from authorized dealers of the company.
    c) Batteries (including rechargeable) wherever applicable.

  4. The defective unit must be delivered at the user’s cost at the nearest Service Centre of the company or authorized Service Dealer. A list of franchisees can be had from the Distributor of the dealer/retailer.

  5. While Company or its Authorised Service Dealer will make every effort to carry out repairs under this warranty as soon as possible it is expressly made clear that the company shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect loss to the user due to delay in providing these services.

  6. This warranty excludes every condition/warranty/ liability not expressly set out therein.

  7. Claims, if any to this warranty shall be only made before the courts having jurisdiction in New Delhi.

NOTE:

The telephone instrument is the terminal point in the communication link consisting of the exchange, external underground cables, and internal wiring. A fault anywhere in the link is manifested in the instrument even though it may be perfectly in order. Thus if your telephone is dead, engaged, or held up, you must: File its complaint with the local exchange or at 198. Obtain confirmation that exchange/ external cables are O.K. Check internal wiring/connection from the pole. Finally, contact/take the instrument for repair to the service franchisee/company service center.
