Product Information
The product you have purchased is a sub-miniature microphone. Some models are waterproof, indicated by the letter W (IP57 waterproof) in the model number on the white tag near the end of the mic cable. Please note that the products pictured in the user manual are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly represent the product you have purchased.
Water & Windscreens:
Windscreens are highly recommended for heavy water usage, where it is expected
that water will likely flood the microphone aperture. Failure to observe
proper use of this product could result in voiding your warranty.
Note: Sound waves cannot pass through water, so if the microphone gets
wet, gently shake out the water and allow it to air dry to clear any blockage
in the mic aperture. For more cleaning and care tips, scan the barcode
provided.
Usage Instructions
Microphone Care:
- Use care when storing your microphone; coil the cable so that it rests flat.
- Do NOT wrap the cable around the body pack or coil the cable in any way that creates serious bends or strain on the cable.
Proprietary Hardwired Connectors:
The microphone comes with patented ENDURETM connectors that are designed for use as is. Please do NOT apply additional strain relief as this may cause damage.
Cable Care:
Take care of the cable by following these guidelines:
- Do NOT apply additional strain relief to the connectors.
- Store the microphone by coiling the cable so that it rests flat.
- Do NOT wrap the cable around the body pack or create serious bends or strain on the cable.
