CARE & MAINTENANCE

Cleaning & Ongoing Maintenance

Danger: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

  • Always unplug this furnishing from the electrical outlet before cleaning.

Caution: DO NOT USE acetone, “Armor All” type cleaners, citrus-based cleaners, or industrial cleaners. These can seriously damage the appliance. Such damage would not be covered under warranty.

Category Cleaning Recommendation
Electronics/ Control Panel Anti-static electronic aerosol dusters

can be used to keep the surfaces of elec- tronic components, power cables, and plugs free of dust. Exercise caution to avoid introduction of liquids onto any buttons. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers. They may permanently damage the finish or damage the letters and/or graphics.
Cabinet Exterior| Clean the drawer face/handle with a solution of mild detergent and hot water. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.
Cabinet Interior| Clean the cabinet interior with a solution of mild detergent and hot water. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use any flammable cleaners inside the cabinet.
Gasket| The gasket is located around the edge of the door. Gently clean the gasket with a solution of mild detergent and hot water. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth. The gasket material is soft, so be careful not to crush or damage it. Damaging the gasket will cause a poor heat seal and result in poor warming drawer performance.

When heating moist towels, condensation can build up inside the cabinet. If not regularly wiped down, this can lead to small amounts of water dripping from the cabinet when opened. To minimize any water dripping, ensure you perform the following maintenance tasks as needed throughout the day:

  1. Ensure any condensation and/or moisture (inside and outside the cabinet) is wiped dry with a soft cloth as needed.
  2. Regularly check and wipe down the drip tray.
