Product Usage Instructions
To use the SunTouch TapeMat, follow these steps:
- Select the appropriate TapeMat roll size based on the room size and power requirement.
- Ensure you have the correct voltage (120 VAC or 240 VAC) for the TapeMat.
- Prepare the floor surface by cleaning it thoroughly.
- Unroll the TapeMat and position it on the floor, ensuring proper coverage.
- Secure the TapeMat in place using adhesive or tape.
- Connect the TapeMat to a compatible thermostat or control system.
- Test the TapeMat to ensure it is functioning properly before covering it with flooring material.
- Install the desired flooring material over the

· Order Custom TapeMat to match your floor plan or select a standard TapeMat
roll size
· ShowerMat is sized to fit standard shower base sizes and includes an opening
for the drain
· All offer 1-step application with thinset or self-leveler · Open-weave mesh
allows mortar to easily bond with

Selecting a standard TapeMat roll size:
· Calculate the total wall-to-wall square footage of the room. · Subtract the
square footage of all built-ins (closets, tub, toilet, cabinets). · Multiply
the result by .9 and round down to the nearest 5 ft2. · Select TapeMat to
match roll width, voltage & square footage.

How to Order Custom TapeMat
1. Send a complete drawing to designs@wattswater.com or call our design team
toll-free at 1-888-432-8932 for
assistance
2. Drawing must include the following: Complete, accurate dimensions of the
area to be heated. Include all wall dimensions from start to finish around the
perimeter of the room Thermostat location Dimensions & locations of any
obstructions in the heated area (vents, plumbing, cabinets, steps, etc.)
3. A design showing the Custom TapeMat layout will be faxed back for customer
approval
4. Once the design is approved, please send SunTouch a purchase order,
including: Custom TapeMat order number Custom TapeMat project number
Customer’s approved signature on the design drawing
5. Mats will ship within 3 business days of receipt of purchase order with
the customer-approved, signed drawing

Tile and stone feel warm and soothing when installed over an operating ShowerMat. With this simple addition, you can improve comfort and floor surface drying times. ShowerMats are installed in thinset mortar above the shower pan liner. They can be individually controlled or operated by the same control as other floor heated areas of the bathroom. ShowerMats make it easy to install a separate heating system in the shower.

WarmWire coverage depends on the selected wire spacing. · 2.5″ spacing is

framed subfloors. · 3.5″ spacing may be used in lower heat loss areas such as
hallways.

· Simply press WarmWire into the HeatMatrix channels at the selected spacing
· Protect tile and stone from cracking with a sheer stress control layer that
isolates the surface from subfloor movement

that allow evaporation of moisture from below the membrane

HeatMatrix is installed in both unheated and heated areas to provide
crackisolation, vapor management, and waterproofing. Order a quantity that
will cover the full square footage of the area to be tiled.
For areas where the floor is exposed to surface water, HeatMatrix Joint Tape
is recommended to seal the seams.

Regardless of the size, shape, or thickness of the concrete slab, SlabHeat is
a simple way to provide the comfort of radiant heat. SlabHeat is engineered to
produce enough BTUs to heat the slab, the space and the surface that people
walk on.
· 4″ on center (15 Watts/ft2) is typical for basement floor heating & high
heat loss areas. · 6″ on center (10 Watts/ft2) is typical for basement floor

ProMelt® Cable
ProMelt Cable offers full flexibility in design. Cables are spaced at either

ProMelt Smart Controller
The ProMelt® Smart Controller operates hydronic and electric heating equipment designed to melt snow and/or ice from driveways, parking lots and walkways surfaces. The control works with Snow/Ice Sensor 090 or Snow Sensor 095 to automatically detect snow or ice and operates a single boiler, steam valve or electric cable to supply heat to the slab. The Watts Home mobile application allows for remote operation and monitoring of the snow melting system from anywhere in the world.
