Sricam DH005 Wireless Battery Camera

Product Information

The Battery Camera is a portable and wireless camera that allows you to monitor your surroundings. It is equipped with a low-power battery and supports 2.4GHz WiFi connection. The camera comes with 2PCS 18650 batteries and can be charged using a DC 5V power source. It also has a Micro SD card slot for storage.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Step 1: SriHome App Installation
   • Method 1: Search for “SriHome” on Google Play or iOS App Store to download the app.
   • Method 2: Scan the QR code provided to download the SriHome App.
2. Step 2: Registration & Login on SriHome App
3. Step 3: Power on the Camera
   • Turn the power switch to ON to turn on the camera.
   • The camera will emit a continuous beep after 30 seconds. If there is no beep sound, hold the RESET button for 5 seconds until you hear a long beep (Make sure to charge the batteries before first-time use).
4. Step 4: Add the camera to the SriHome App
   • Follow the instructions in the SriHome App to add the device.
   • Input the device’s ID when prompted.
   • Select the appropriate WiFi network and enter the password.
   • Align the QR code with the camera lens and click “Next” when you hear the prompt sound.
   • Continue following the instructions in the app to complete the setup.

Solar Panel Instructions

1. Power output: 3W/5V
2. When installing, make sure to face the solar panel towards a sunny direction.
3. To use the solar panel with the camera, connect the output line of the solar panel to the camera.
4. Note: The solar panel is compatible only with low-power battery cameras and not regular IP cameras.

Before starting setup

• Battery camera does not support AP hotspot mode.
• This camera does not support 5GHz WiFi, please connect via 2.4GHz WiFi.
• Check if DHCP is enabled on the router.
• The low-power battery camera is equipped with 2PCS 18650 batteries by default, please charge the batteries before using the camera for the first time.

   • When you hear the continuous “beep”, follow the instructions of the SriHome App to add the device, as in the figure:

Notice

1. If you do not hear the “Bi” prompt, please adjust the distance between the phone and the camera, and then click Next until you hear the prompt
2. If you hear the recognition prompt tone, the app still prompts that the camera is offline, please check the WiFi password, and reset the camera to re-configure the network to add

Solar panels Instructions

1. Power output: 3W/5V;
2. When installing, please face the board to a sunny direction;
3. When using with a camera, just connect the output line of the solar panel to the camera.

Note: This solar panel can only be used with low-power battery cameras, not with regular IP cameras.

FAQ

Share the camera with other users

To protect the user’s privacy, the first user is an administrator by default. Others need administrator’s permission to access the camera, or they cannot login even with ID and password. The way to get permission as follows:

• Access the “SriHome” App, tap Settings -> Visitor Management -> Add.

There are 2 types of permissions:

• Operator: Live video view, set time, alarm, record and network.
• Visitor: Viewing video only in real time

Note: You can find the user’s App ID in App Settings
