Product Information
The Aggard Dust Extraction is a filter system designed to remove dust and airborne particles from the air. It is essential for maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The system consists of a filter unit that needs to be regularly checked and maintained to ensure its proper functioning.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before accessing the filter unit, make sure it is locked out.
- Avoid accessing the filter unit during adverse weather conditions or when there is a risk of slips or falls.
- Operators must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, including a hi-vis vest, hard hat, safety boots, goggles, gloves, face mask, and disposable paper suit when accessing the internal parts of the filter unit.
- Always work with a colleague and never attempt to work alone.
- Use the handrails while walking up and down the step unit.
- If tools are needed, perform a tool count and list all items taken up the access steps. Ensure all tools are returned before starting the filter unit.
- Dispose of any damaged or wet filter bags carefully in an airtight rubbish bag before transporting them to the waste skip.
- Avoid carrying anything heavy up the access steps. The maximum weight should not exceed 10kg.
- No other staff members or visitors are allowed to walk under or around the step unit while it is in use. Use appropriate signage to indicate restricted access.
- Always replace the restricted access rope back in place when finished working on the step unit.
- Do not allow anyone else to use the step unit unless they have received adequate training from the Timber Products Manager.
