Safety instructions

  • Keep the work area clean and tidy. Untidy work areas invite accidents.

    • Do not use it in a damp environment.
    • Make sure that the environment of the work area is well lit (sunlight or artificial lighting).

  • Always use the most appropriate device for the job to do. Do not force the device.
    • Do not force a small device or accessory to do the work of a heavy-duty device.

    • Do not attempt to pull stationary or fixed loads.
    • Do not apply lateral force to the load.
    • Not suitable for lifting loads and never for transporting people.
  • Avoid starting the winch unintentionally. The ratchet switch should always be fully engaged.
  • Check the winch for damaged parts:
    • Before using or reusing the winch, carefully inspect all parts to determine if it is working properly and performing its intended function. Do not use the winch if any parts are damaged. Damaged parts should be repaired or replaced by qualified personnel.
    • Check the correct alignment of the moving parts and ensure that there are no blockages. Check the fastening devices, too, and make sure that there are no broken parts or other conditions that could affect proper operation.
    • Check the steel cable regularly for signs of cracks and wear. Have a damaged cable replaced by qualified personnel.
  • Repairing the winch:
    • Only identical spare parts should be used for repairs to avoid endangering the user.
