DSE DK-V2-4G Camera And Car Black Box With 4G
Product Information
The DK-V2-4G is a car video recorder that comes with an integrated front camera and a secondary camera for capturing footage of the vehicle’s interior. It is designed to be mounted on the windshield using the included adhesive bracket. The camera is equipped with a 4G SIM slot, allowing for web control.
When connected to the vehicle’s power, the camera records continuously while the vehicle is turned on. When the vehicle is turned off, the parking function can be enabled to record any incidents that may occur. For continuous recording even when parked, both the BAT and ACC connectors can be connected to a fuse holder that provides constant voltage even when the ignition is off.
The dash cam comes with a cable for connecting to the vehicle’s control unit, as well as for connecting the internal camera and GPS antenna. It is recommended to install a battery-saving device to disconnect the camera when the battery is low, and an external switch on the ACC cable to turn off the camera during long stops.
The camera should be positioned near the rearview mirror, preferably towards the passenger side to avoid obstructing the driver’s view. The adhesive bracket allows for easy installation, and the lens can be rotated to adjust to the windshield’s inclination and capture an optimal view of the road.
The indoor camera and GPS antenna connect to the power cable using their respective connectors. The indoor camera should be positioned on the windshield facing inward, while the GPS antenna can be attached anywhere in the passenger compartment using its magnet. To enable web control of the dashcam, insert a 4G SIM card into the SIM slot. The camera supports the MicroSIM format, but an adapter is required for NanoSIM cards.

Product Description
DK-V2-4G is a car video recorder equipped with an integrated front camera and a second camera for filming the interior of the vehicle. It is ideal to be mounted on the windshield with the included adhesive bracket and monitor everything that happens around the vehicle. It is equipped with a 4G SIM slot that allows web control.
Dash cam wiring
The dashcam is supplied with a cable that allows you to connect it to the
vehicle’s control unit to which you also connect the internal camera and the
GPS antenna. The power cord has these 3 connectors
- BAT – Yellow BAT+ cable connects to a fuse holder which always supplies current, even when the vehicle is off.
- ACC – Red ACC wire connects to a fuse holder that supplies power only when the vehicle is running.
- GND – Ground lead connects to a vehicle chassis ground screw
NOTE: You can use a tester connected between the fuse holder and a
chassis ground screw to check for voltage.
You can connect the connector to an empty fuse holder, or use the splitter
that allows you to connect both the camera and the original fuse in one place
Connected in this way, the camera records continuously only when the vehicle
is on. With the vehicle off, the parking function can be enabled which records
if the vehicle is hit.
If you want to record continuously, even when parked, you can connect both the
BAT and ACC connectors to a fuse holder which gives voltage that is always
present even when the ignition is off.
In this case, however, it is advisable to also install a battery-saving device, which disconnects the camera if the battery is running low, and an external switch on the ACC cable, to be able to turn off the camera in the event of long stops.
Mounting the dashcam
The camera should be positioned near the rearview mirror, in order to have a
good front view. The best position is towards the passenger side, as shown, so
as not to obstruct the driver’s view.
-
The bracket is equipped with a high-strength adhesive. It is advisable to clean the glass well and check the framing before gluing the bracket.
-
The lens can be rotated to adapt to the inclination of the windshield and perfectly frame the road in front of the vehicle.
-
The indoor camera and GPS antenna connect to the power cable at their connectors. The camera is always positioned on the windshield, facing inwards passenger compartment, the antenna is equipped with a magnet to be attached to the bodywork at any point in the passenger compartment, even hidden
-
Turning on the camera and recording
The camera turns on automatically when it receives 12VDC power simultaneously on the BAT and ACC terminals. When the vehicle is switched off, the voltage on ACC fails and the camera goes into Parking mode. -
Parking Mode
In Parking mode, the camera remains dormant with negligible consumption. Recording starts if the vehicle is hit to document what happened. The camera is also activated if a remote web connection is requested via the app. -
Indication LEDs
The camera is equipped with 3 indication LEDs: RED LED – Flashing if recording abnormal BLUE LED – Flashing when 4G network not connected GREEN LED – Flashing when GPS out of range GREEN LED – Solid when all functions are normal -
Insert the micro SD card
- The first thing to do, if you want to make recordings, is to insert the micro SD card in the appropriate slot on the DVR (TF) It is possible to use micro SD cards with a capacity up to 128GB in
- CLASS 10 or higher. The SD card is not included in the package.
- As an indication, consider that one minute of continuous recording at 1080P occupies about 90MB, therefore a 128GB SD card can contain about 24 hours of continuous recording.
Once the SD card has been inserted into the slot, the red led signaling anomalous recording switches off and an audible confirmation of inserted SD card is emitted.
Insert the 4G SIM
If you want to be able to control the dashcam through the WEB, you need to
insert a 4G sim card into the SIM slot. The camera supports the MicroSIM
format
If you have a smaller format SIM, NanoSIM, you will need an adapter (not included). Insert the card until you hear the locking click. Once the SIM card has been inserted, if there is a 4G data network from your provider, the flashing blue LED, which signaled the disconnected network, turns off, and the message: Network OK is played.
Registration
