Product Information

The O E 4G LTE Router is a high-speed wireless router that allows users to connect to the internet using 4G LTE technology. It supports various models, including the WIS-N300-LTE. The package includes the 4G LTE Router, a 12VDC Adapter, and a Quick Setup Guide.

Interface
The router features several LED indicators that provide information about the device’s status:

  • Power LED: Indicates whether the router is powered on or off.
  • Internet LED: Indicates whether the router is connected to the Internet or not.
  • WLAN LED: Indicates whether the WiFi feature is enabled or disabled.

The router also has the following ports:

  • DC: Input voltage 12V
  • WAN: 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Port
  • LAN1 and LAN2: 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Ports
  • SIM Slot: Micro SIM Card
  • Reset Button: Press and hold for more than 8 seconds to restore factory settings

Product Usage Instructions

Internet via 4G LTE

  1. Insert a Micro SIM card correctly into the router.
  2. Connect the LAN port of the router to your computer using a network cable.
  3. Power on the router and log in to the device management web page.
  4. Click on “LTE Setting” and ensure that Mobile Dial is enabled.
  5. Click “Dial Up” and then “New Profile” to add APN configuration. Confirm the specific APN configuration with your local operator.
  6. Check with your local operator if the supported LTE Bands or frequencies are compatible with Wisnetwork LTE devices as different regions use different bands.

Internet via WAN PORT

  1. Connect the WAN port of the router to the internet using a network cable.
  2. Connect the LAN port of the router to your computer using a network cable.
  3. Power on the router and log in to the device management web page.
  4. Click on “WAN Setting” and then “Edit” to configure the WAN port parameters. The default is DHCP.

Install the radio

Internet configuration method used as a single router
After the router is powered on, the power indicator light is green. After 90 seconds, the system is successfully started, and the WiFi light is green.

Web configuration

  1. Check all wires are correctly connected.
  2. Configure the host system dynamic IP to get the IP from the router.
  3. Using a web browser access 192.168.1.1 (wait a few seconds after the device power up).
  4. When login page appears enter “admin” in both the username and password fields.
  5. For more configurations settings please visit the support site at www.wisnetworks.com.

ATTENTION
Shielded Category 5 (or above) cabling should be used for all wired Ethernet connections.

Internet via 4G LTE

  1. Please insert the available Micro SIM card correctly, Use a network cable to connect the LAN port to PC.
  2. Power on the device and login to the device management Web-page.
  3. Click on LTE Setting and check that Mobile Dial is enabled.
  4. Click Dial Up, click New Profile to add APN configuration. Please confirm the specific APN configuration with the local operator.

Since different regions use different LTE Bands, please check with your local operator whether the supported LTE Bands or frequencies are compatible with Wisnetwork LTE devices.

ATTENTION
If you use other PoE Adapter which is not provided by Wisnetworks, we can’t provide warranty service if device damage is caused.

Internet via WAN PORT

  1. Connect the WAN port of the device to the Internet with a network cable, and connect the LAN port of the device to the computer.
  2. Power on the device and login to the device management Web-page.
  3. Click WAN Setting, click Edit to configure the WAN port parameters.(The default is DHCP)

  1. Compliance is required with respect to voltage, frequency, and current requirements indicated on the manufacturer’s label. Connection to a different power source than those specified may result in improper operation, damage to the equipment or pose a fire hazard if the limitations are not followed.
    There are no operator-serviceable parts inside this equipment. Service should be provided only by a qualified service technician.

  2. This equipment is provided with a detachable power cord which has an integral safety ground wire intended for connection to a grounded safety outlet.

    • a. Do not substitute the power cord with one that is not the approved type. Never use an adapter plug to connect to a 2-wire outlet as this will defeat the continuity of the grounding wire.
    • b. The equipment requires the use of the ground wire as a part of the safety certification, modification or misuse can provide a shock hazard that can result in serious injury or death.
    • c. Contact a qualified electrician or the manufacturer if there are questions about the installation prior to connecting the equipment.
    • d. Protective earthing is provided by Listed AC adapter. Building installation shall provide appropriate short-circuit backup protection.
    • e. Protective bonding must be installed in accordance with local national wiring rules and regulations.

CE Marking

CE marking on this product represents the product is in compliance with all directives that are applicable to it. Alert sign must be indicated if a restriction on use applied to the product and it must follow the CE marking.

RoHS/WEEE Compliance Statement

European Directive 2002/96/EC requires that the equipment bearing this symbol on the product and/or its packaging must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste. The symbol indicates that this product should be disposed of separately from regular household waste streams. Limited Warranty

Wisnetworks warrants that the product(s) furnished hereunder (the “Product(s)”) shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one(1) year from the date of shipment by Wisnetworks under normal use and operation. Wisnetworks sole and exclusive obligation and liability under the foregoing warranty shall be for Wisnetworks, at its discretion, to repair or replace any Product that fails to conform to the above warranty during the above warranty period. The expense of removal and reinstallation of any Product is not included in this warranty. The warranty period of any repaired or replaced Product shall not extend beyond its original term.

Warranty Condition

The above warranty does not apply if the Product:

  • (a) has been modified and/or altered, or an addition made thereto, except by Wisnetworks, or our authorized representatives, or as approved by Wisnetworks in writing;
  • (b) has been painted, rebranded or physically modified in any way;
  • (c) has been damaged due to errors or defects in cabling;
  • (d) has been subjected to misuse, abuse, negligence, abnormal physical, electromagnetic or electrical stress, including lightning strikes, or accidents;
  • (e) has been damaged or impaired as a result of using third-party firmware;
  • (f) has no original Wisnetworks MAC/SN label, or is missing any other original Wisnetworks label(s);
  • (g) human reasons without according to the guide or user manual.

In addition, the above warranty shall apply only if: the product has been properly installed and used at all times in accordance, and in all material respects, with the applicable Product documentation; all Ethernet cabling runs use CAT5 (or above), and for outdoor installations, shielded Ethernet cabling is used, and for indoor installations, indoor cabling requirements are followed.
