Product Information
The product is an outboard motor used for powering boats. It has different modes of operation including Forward, Backward, and Neutral. The motor can be stopped in multiple ways for normal operation, emergency situations, or malfunction situations. It is recommended to tilt the outboard out of water when the motor is not running. The product is powered by an external battery, which can be powered off following specific steps.
Product Usage Instructions
Stopping the Outboard:
- Rotate the throttle to the neutral position.
- Wait until the outboard stops, then remove the kill switch from the tiller.
- Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds to power off the system.
- Tilt the outboard out of water and uninstall it from the boat according to your requirement.
In abnormal situations like a fall-over emergency, it is recommended to stop the outboard motor by removing the kill switch from the tiller. In malfunction situations, the outboard will stop immediately for protection. The outboard can also stop if one of the following situations occurs:
- The throttle is in the neutral position.
- The power button is switched off.
- The kill switch is removed.
- The connection between tiller and battery is cut.
- The battery is empty.
- The outboard goes malfunctions (e.g. motor is blocked or the battery voltage drops below 33V).
It is recommended to tilt up the outboard out of water when the motor is not running.
Powering off the External Battery:
- Stop the outboard (refer to the “Stopping” section).
- Turn off the power switch.
- Turn off the battery (if the battery has a switch).
- Unplug the external battery cable.
INSTRUCTION
In normal operating procedure, it’s recommended to stop the outboard as following steps.
- Rotate the throttle to neutral position.
- Wait until the outboard stops, then remove the kill switch from tiller.
- Press and hold (≥2secs) the “POWER” button to power off the system.
- Tilt the outboard out of water and uninstall it from boat according to your requirement.
In abnormal situations like a fall over emergency, it’s recommended to stop
the outboard motor by removing the kill switch from the tiller.
In malfunction situations, the outboard will stop immediately for protection.
The outboard will stop if one of the following situations occurs.
- The throttle is in neutral position.
- The power button is switched off.
- The kill switch is removed.
- The connection between tiller and battery is cut.
- The battery is empty.

Power off the External Battery
Please follow the steps below to power off the external battery.
- Stop the outboard (refer to 5.3 Stopping).
- Turn off the power switch.
- Turn off the battery (if the battery has a switch), unplug the external battery cable.
Stopping
The outboard can be stopped in one of the following four ways.
- Turn throttle to neutral position.
- Remove the Kill Switch.
- Switch off the power button.
- Disconnect the power cable.
