  3. Once Inserted, Rotate the Spear with the Pressure Relief Valve (B) Clockwise to tighten.

  8. After the Nitro Cold Brew spear system has been assembled, remove the spear system assembly by turning it counterclockwise. After the spear system has been removed, proceed to the “How to use the Nitro Cold Brew” section on page 6.

How to Use:

IMPORTANT:

Do NOT put any parts in the dishwasher.

  1. Pour 1.1L (1100 mL) of cold brew coffee into the Mini Keg (A).

    IMPORTANT:

While the Mini Keg (A) has a capacity of 2 liters, never exceeding 1.2 liters of fluid in the Mini Keg (A), the nitro will not be able to blend with the cold brew properly and the Mini Keg (A) will not pressurize properly.
    NOTE:
For best results, use the Vinci Express Cold Brew Maker and Vinci Cold Brew Coffee. To learn more visit www.vinciwarehousewares.com and look for the Vinci Express Cold Brew Maker that makes cold brew in as little as 5 minutes and the Vinci  Express Cold Brew Coffee that is specifically formulated and perfectly portioned to make the best cold brew coffee with the Vinci Express Cold Brew system.

  2. After the Mini Keg (A) has been properly filled, insert the assembled spear system and turn it clockwise to tighten.

  3. Place an 2g non-threaded Nitrogen (N2) cartridge or a 8g non-threaded Nitrous Oxide (N2O) into the Cartridge Holder (C) with the nipple end of the cartridge at the open end of the Cartridge Holder (C). Screw the loaded CartridgeHolder (C) onto the gas connection on the Spear (B). Turn clockwise until the gas cartridge is pierced. You should hear a “whistle” sound as the gas fills the Mini Keg (A).
NOTE: We recommend using 8g non-threaded Nitrogen (N2O) cartridge for a rich and creamy beverage.

  4. Shake the filled cold brewed Mini Keg (A) and attached cartridge for 30 – 60 seconds. This is a necessary step as shaking the Mini Keg (A) allows the gas to infuse with the cold brew. After shaking, put the Mini Keg (A) into the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill.

  5. After Nitro Cold Brew has chilled, place it on the Vinci Spill Mat (I) and position your cup under the Stout Faucet (F) spout. Press down on the handle to begin extracting the nitro cold brew from the Mini Keg (A).
    NOTE:
When all the cold brew has been dispensed from the Mini Keg (A), you must depress the handle to ensure all the pressurized gas is evacuated before unscrewing the spear system.

HOW TO CLEAN

IMPORTANT:
Do NOT put any parts in the dishwasher.

  1. Disassemble the Nitro Cold Brew to clean all the components properly. You may need to use the Faucet Wrench (H) to remove the Stout Faucet (F)from the Spear (B).
    IMPORTANT:

    • Do NOT put any parts in the dishwasher as it may damage the unit and void the warranty.
    • The Nitro Cold Brew MUST be cleaned after use.
  2. Fill and empty the Mini Keg (A) with hot water. Repeat this step 3 times.

  3. Fill the Mini Keg (A) with hot water and add 1 tablespoon of baking soda.

  4. Cover the opening of the filled Mini Keg (A) to prevent any spills, shake for 10 seconds and let sit for 10 minutes.

  5. Remove the solution from the Mini Keg (A) and gently scrub the inside of the Mini Keg (A) with the Large Keg Brush (J). After the inside has been scrubbed, repeat step 1 in the “How to Clean” section on page 8.

  6. Rinse openings of the Spear (B) with hot water and let it air dry.

  7. Rinse all openings of the Stout Faucet (F) with hot water and use the Small Faucet Brush (K) to clean the spout tip of the faucet.

  8. Soak the Pick-Up Hose (G) in hot soapy water for a few minutes and rinse with clean water.

TIPS FOR USE AND CARE

  • Maintaining and using the Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Maker is easy, but there are a few things you need to keep in mind to maintain and fully enjoy your unit:
  • After cleaning the Mini Keg (A), place it upside down on a clean towel or allow to air dry uncovered. Make sure the cap is left off until the inside of the Mini Keg (A) is completely dry.
  • Do not microwave or freeze Mini Keg (A).
  • Never put your Mini Keg (A) in the dishwasher.
  • This product is not designed for hot liquids, nonfood items, or caustic, highly acidic materials.
  • Not guaranteed against leakage from above-average tap pressure.
  • Not to be used for fermenting.
  • Keep small parts away from children.
  • Never overfill Mini Keg (A) The gas needs room to expand, so always leave 2-3 inches unfilled from the top to allow for expansion.
  • For the best results, shake the Mini Keg (A) well after each cartridge and daily before dispensing the first pour of the day.
  • Nitrogen (N2) or Nitrous Oxide (N20) cartridges can be found at many local supermarkets, and cooking stores and are readily available on Amazon and other online retailers.
  • Nitrous oxide (N2O) and Nitrogen (N2) is bacteriostatic which means that it inhibit bacterial growth, so most beverages will typically stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
  • A delicious Nitro Cold Brew starts with a good-tasting Cold Brew that is neither weak nor concentrated.
  • Besides cold brew coffee, the Vinci Nitro Cold Brew Mini Keg (A) can be used to infuse cocktails, lemonade, tea, fruit-infused waters, juice, or virtually any of your favorite cold beverages! The only beverages not recommended are already carbonated or beverages that contain small particles or pulp.
