Product Information

  • Polar Pattern: This refers to the directional sensitivity of the microphone, which determines how it picks up sound from different angles.
  • Frequency Response: This indicates the range of frequencies that the microphone can accurately capture.
  • S/N (Signal-to-Noise) Ratio : The ratio of the desired signal (sound) to the background noise, which signifies the microphone’s ability to reproduce clear audio.
  • Equivalent Noise : The level of inherent noise produced by the microphone, usually measured in decibels (dB).
  • Maximum SPL (Sound Pressure Level): The highest sound pressure level that the microphone can handle without distortion.
  • Dynamic Range : The difference between the quietest and loudest sounds that the microphone can capture without losing fidelity.
  • Sensitivity: The microphone’s responsiveness to sound, often expressed in millivolts per Pascal (mV/Pa).
  • Working Voltage : The required voltage for the microphone to operate correctly.
  • Output Interface: The type of connector or interface used to connect the microphone to other devices.
  • Dimension: The physical measurements of the microphone, typically provided in length, width, and height.
  • Net Weight: The weight of the microphone without any additional accessories or packaging materials.
  • Operating Temperature: The recommended temperature range in which the microphone can function optimally.
  • Storage Temperature: The temperature range suitable for storing the microphone when not in use.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Choose an appropriate polar pattern based on your recording environment and desired sound capture. Common options include cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8.
  2. Consider the frequency response range to ensure that it covers the desired audio spectrum for your specific application.
  3. Take note of the S/N ratio and equivalent noise levels to ensure clear and low-noise audio recordings.
  4. Be aware of the maximum SPL rating to avoid distortion when recording loud sounds.
  5. Consider the dynamic range to ensure that the microphone can handle both quiet and loud sounds without sacrificing audio quality.
  6. Adjust the sensitivity according to your recording needs and the sound source’s loudness.
  7. Ensure that the working voltage matches the power supply available or use appropriate adaptors if needed.
  8. Use the specified output interface to connect the microphone to compatible devices such as audio interfaces or mixers.
  9. Take note of the microphone’s dimensions to plan for its placement or mounting.
  10. Consider the net weight for portability and stability purposes, especially when using boom arms or microphone stands.
  11. Operate the microphone within the recommended operating temperature range for optimal performance and longevity.
  12. Store the microphone within the recommended storage temperature range to prevent potential damage or performance degradation.
