SPEC-D Tuning 2019-UP Dodge Ram 2500-3500 Projector Sequential Headlight

BEFORE INSTALLATION

• If you experience any difficulties that the instructions did not cover, please seek assistance at a local automotive shop.
• Please wear proper protective equipment before you work on any vehicle.
• An assistant is recommended when removing the front bumper from your vehicle.
• Please be cautious when working with the bumper or any parts belonging to the vehicle’s body to prevent scratching.
• Do not make direct contact with the halogen bulbs or the wire assembly until the unit has cooled down after use.

TOOLS AND SUPPLIES REQUIRED

LET’S START THE INSTALLATION

1. Remove the fourteen plastic fasteners on the radiator upper support cover.

2. Remove the radiator upper support cover.

3. Remove the ten 10mm bolts at the top of the upper grille trim.

4. Remove the upper grille trim.

5. Grab the edge with both hands and pull forward to remove the body trim, it’s a little difficult to take out.

6. Remove the two 10mm bolts on the lower grille trim, one on each side.

7. Remove the seven 10mm nuts on the lower grille trim from underneath the front bumper.

8. Remove the lower grille trim.

9. Remove the eight 10mm bolts at the bottom of the front grille, four on each side.

10. Remove the six 10mm bolts at the top of the front grille.

11. Unseat the front grille upper leg.

12. Remove the front grille.

13. Remove the plastic fastener and the 10mm bolt at the bottom of the headlight, in between the fender and front bumper.

14. Remove the 10mm bolt and the plastic fastener at the top of the headlight.

15. Unseat the factory headlight housing.

16. Unlock the headlight harness lock.
    Disconnect the headlight harness, and then remove the factory headlight housing.

17. Connect the headlight harness to the new headlight.

18. Seat the new headlight assembly in place.

19. Reinstall the 10mm bolt and the plastic fastener at the top of the headlight.

20. Reinstall the plastic fastener and the 10mm bolt at the bottom of the headlight, in between the fender and front bumper.

21. Please repeat the steps from 13 to 20 for the opposite side.

22. Remove the under-hood fuse box cover and locate the #95 fuse.

23. Remove the #95 fuse.

24. Install the #95 10 amp fuse to the ACC wire fuse empty spot.

25. Install the ACC wire fuse to the #95 fuse spot and reinstall the fuse box cover.

26. Connect the ACC wire to the LH headlight connector.

27. Connect the ACC wire to the RH headlight connector.

28. Start the car to make sure the LED light bar is working.

29. Cable tie the loose wires.

30. Reinstall the front grille.

31. Attach the front grille upper leg.

32. Reinstall the six 10mm bolts at the top of the front grille.

33. Reinstall the eight 10mm bolts at the bottom of the front grille, four on each side.

34. Reinstall the lower grille trim.

35. Reinstall the seven 10mm nuts on the lower grille trim from underneath the front bumper.

36. Reinstall the two 10mm bolts on the lower grille trim, one on each side.

37. Reinstall the body trim.

38. Reinstall the upper grille trim.

39. Reinstall the ten 10mm bolts at the top of the upper grille trim.

40. Reinstall the radiator upper support cover.

41. Reinstall the fourteen plastic fasteners on the radiator upper support cover.

42. Close the hood to complete the installation.
