The device can be used in various applications and is suitable for different cable outputs such as ISO M20x1.5 (ppp = P20), PG 13.5 (ppp = G13), and 1/2 NPT (ppp = N12).

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before working on the equipment, make sure to disconnect all power to avoid electric shock.
  2. Install the XCSD3ppp / P3ppp device according to the specified cable output (ISO M20x1.5, PG 13.5, or 1/2 NPT).
  3. Connect the device to the appropriate control safety unit to achieve the desired safety level (up to category 4 PL=e or SIL 3).
  4. Ensure that qualified personnel handle the installation, operation, servicing, and maintenance of the electrical equipment.
  5. Refer to the reliability data (B10d) provided for the device to understand its expected number of operations.
  6. Follow the specified rated operating characteristics for the device.
  7. Ensure that the device is protected against electric shock.
  8. Consider the minimum actuation speed (0.5 m/s, 1.5 m/s) when using the device in applications.
  9. Refer to the product certifications and ambient air temperature range for optimal performance.
  10. Take into account the vibration resistance and shock resistance of the device for proper usage.
  11. Follow the minimum force for tripping requirements specified (15 N / 3.372 lbs, 45 N / 10.116 lbs).
  12. Pay attention to the closed position of the device for accurate status indication (Fermeture, Geschlossen, Cerrado, Chiusura, Fechado).
