Troubleshooting:
If you experience any issues with the inflator, follow these troubleshooting
steps:
The inflator does not turn on:
- Check the power plug and ensure it is firmly inserted into the receptacle. Twist it back and forth to ensure a secure connection.
- Inspect the receptacle and plug terminals for dirt or debris. Use a non-conductive probe to clean them.
- Check the vehicle power outlet fuse. It should be at least 15 amps.
- If necessary, replace the fuse located in the plug adaptor with a 15A 250V 5mm x 20mm fuse.
Inflator runs but does not inflate:
- Ensure that the connector is fully secured on the tire valve.
- Check the tire for leaks and inspect the hose for breaks, leaks at fittings, and damage to the valve core.
Inflator runs slowly:
- The inflator may have overheated from excessive use. Turn it off and allow it to cool for 30 minutes.
- Check the condition of your vehicle’s battery. Low voltage can affect the inflator’s performance.
Note : If the tire is completely deflated, it may be necessary to jack up the tire before inflating to prevent air leakage due to separation from the rim.
