INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing this Olympus product. To ensure your safety, please read this instruction manual before use, and keep it handy for future reference.
Turn off the camera before attaching or removing the lens
Before use
- Be sure to update the firmware of the lens before mounting it on the teleconverter(MC-20).
- When the teleconverter is used, the composite focal distance and iris value of the lens are multiplied by 2.
- The aperture value displayed on the camera is the composite aperture value.

You cannot use another front cap than BC-3.
Mounting (Fig. 2
- Mount the teleconverter on the camera.
- Mount the shooting lens.
Applicable Lenses
For details on applicable lenses, visit the Olympus website or contact the Olympus customer support center.
Do not attach lenses except supported. There is a risk of performance degradation or damage to the body and lens.

Warnings: Safety Precautions
- Do not view the sun through the lens. It may cause blindness or vision impairment.
- Do not leave the lens without the cap. If solar light is converged through the lens, a fire may result.
- Do not point the camera lens at the sun. Sunlight will converge in the lens and focus inside the camera, possibly causing a malfunction or fire. Handling the teleconverter and lens
- More than one MC-20 cannot be used at a time. The MC-20 also cannot be used with another lens converter at the same time.
- Do not hold only the camera body without holding the lens. The splashproof and optical performance may be compromised.
- Do not touch the electrical contacts on the teleconverter.
