Sen sonic Voice™ Voice Control Ventilation Fan with LED Light and Sensorics™ Bluetooth® Speaker
WARNING
Switch power off at service panel and lock the service disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally.
CAUTION
Always wear safety gloves and glasses.

Install fan following installation instructions.

Install 2-AAA batteries into included remote.
Wall Control all Control Functions

Decrease light intensity
-
Mute the microphone.
Press and hold mute button for 5 seconds to pair wall control. Press and hold for 10 seconds will unpair the wall control. -
Fan On/Off

Turn light On/Off.
Press and hold to cycle through different color temperatures. Color temperature changes slowly. Release to select. -
Increase light intensity

Action button.
Used to initiate Wi-Fi connection pairing process, and can activate Alexa.
Holding action button and releasing after 5 seconds will disconnect Wi-Fi.

Download Voice Control app from the app store and set up an account. For the first connection, ensure that you are connected to the same WiFi network that you intend for the fan to connect to.

Make sure both your device location and Bluetooth® are enabled.

The device being used to initially connect the fan to Wi-Fi must be on the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network as the fan, 5 GHz networks are not supported.

You must be currently logged in to the Amazon Alexa app on the device being used with the Voice Control app prior to connecting the fan to Wi-Fi.

You may be prompted to enable permissions such as “Location”, “Nearby Devices”, after opening app, you must allow them.

Tap “Add Device” and follow prompts on screen.
If the grille does not have a spinning orange light, hold the action button for 5 seconds. Follow instructions in app. -
You can rename your device at any time in the VoiceControl app. It is recommended to not name your device any phrase containing the words “fan”, or “light”.

If prompted by the app, allow any updates that are required

- Turn on power to voice controlled fan and (within 3 minutes) press and hold mute button icon (no microphone icon) on wall control for at least 5 seconds. The light on the fan will flash when paired.
- If installing more than 1 Sensonic Voice fan in your house, only the fan that you are attempting to pair with a wall control should be powered. All other Sensorics Voice fans in your house should not be powered to prevent the wall control from pairing to multiple fans.

- To enable Alexa functionality, follow these instructions:
- Tap Alexa icon in VoiceControl app.
- Follow the prompts on screen to sign in to your Alexa account. You may be asked to sign in twice to bind your Amazon account.
- Alexa will let you know your device has been connected to the internet.
- Music can now be played through the speaker via the Alexa app or voice command.

If you would like to use Google Assistant, follow these instructions:
- From the VoiceControl app, go to settings, and tap the Google Assistant icon under “Third Party Control”. Select Google Assistant and follow on-screen prompts.
- Log in to your Google account, then link the device in your Google Assistant app.
- Note that you will need either a Google Device or the Google Assistant app on your phone to use voice commands.
Note: This is an Alexa product, the fan must be linked to an Amazon Alexa and Voice Control app account prior to being able to use with Google Assistant.
Ask Alexa or Google to open Bluetooth® to connect. Via Bluetooth®, you may
play music from any streaming service directly from your smart phone through
the fan speaker.
Allow up to 1 minute for the Sensonic Voice Fan to appear on your phone. You
may need to refresh your Bluetooth search. For initial Bluetooth® pairing:
- Say “Alexa, open Bluetooth® .”
- Go to the Bluetooth® menu on your device (phone, tablet) and connect to Broan Fan. Alexa should then say it is connected.
Note: On some models of devices, the pairing process may be slow or need to be repeated the first time before successfully pairing.

To pair a second device to the fan, you must disconnect the first device through the Bluetooth® settings or say “Alexa, disconnect Bluetooth® .” After the acknowledgement that Bluetooth® has been disconnected, you may repeat the initial pairing procedure and pair the second device.

This device is compatible with normal Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands.
NOTE: Initially after pairing, there may be a slight delay on the fan response to voice commands. This should resolve itself after first usage. -
Features that can be controlled via voice command include:
- Light (on/off, color temperature, and brightness)
- Fan (on/off)
- Streaming music
- Speaker (volume)

Color temperature can be set to five (using Alexa) or six (using Google) preset levels using voice commands:
