GETTING STARTED
INSERTING THE BATTERY
- Lift and rotate the battery cap counter-clockwise to remove the battery cover
- Remove the protective film between battery and cap
- Insert a CR2 3V battery into the compartment with negative end facing in
HOW IT WORKS
- Power On (Press the Power / Measurement Button)
- Select the targeting mode (By pressing the Mode Button)
- Align the crosshairs with the target
- Press the Power /Measurement Button
Focus Square will appear to start measuring the distance.
SLOPE ON/OFF
- Slope Switch: Toggle ON OFF
CHANGING THE UNIT OF MEASUREMENT
- To change the unit of measurement, hold down the MODE button for 3 seconds to alternate from Meter to Yard and vice versa
Slope Function
Slope On] Slope-compensated distance is displayed on top screen Straight-line
distance and height difference(+/ is shown in the bottom of the screen
Slope Off
Straight-line distance is displayed on top screen and bottom lines disappear
SELECTING THE TARGETING MODES (2 MODES TOTAL)
- Change the targeting modes by pressing the Mode button. Modes will change from Standard Scan.
- The mode can be changed only when the targeting crosshair appears; the mode cannot be changed when the focus square is activated.
Focus square is activated when the Power/ Measurement button is pressed once. Be sure to disable it to change the mode.
[Standard Mode]
- Press the Power / Measurement button to display the distance along with vibration
- Press and hold the Power / Measurement button for a second to activate Pin ModeX
- Pin Mode is used to display the closest target when two or more targets are found, even if there are any other objects such as tree or rocks behind the pin
Press the Power/Measurement button once against an object behind the pin (tree), then move towards thee pin. Once the pin is found the distance will be displayed and you will feel a slight vibration
[Scan Mode]
- Useful when acquiring distances of various targets.
- Press the Power/ Measurement Button once to continuously scan for 10 seconds to show the distance to varying targets (1-CLICK SCAN).
In Scan Mode, the device will start measuring the distance once the
Power/Measurement button is clicked.
The button does not need to be clicked more than once.
SAFETY WARNING, CARE, AND MAINTENANCE
Please read the manual guide carefully before using the device.
- Do NOT aim directly at the sun or an eye (as it may cause eyesight loss).
- Do NOT turm the device on while looking into the laser aperture or objective lens (as it may cause eyesight loss).
- Golf Rangefinders may fail to measure the distance when the target is measured through the glass.
- Do not leave the device in direct sunlight for a long period oftime, as it may cause damage on the unit
- Be sure to use the correct battery (CR2) when operating (Battery usage level may increase depending on the usage).
- Keep the device away from children.
- If any type of liquid of substance gets on the device, use the cloth in the package to remove it immediately.
- Keep the device away from heavy rain or water as the device only features basic water resistance level.
- Do NOT disassemble the device arbitrarily as this will void the warranty.
- Any defect caused by the customer is not eligible forfree repair service.
TROUBLESHOOTING
IF THE DISPLAY MALFUNCTIONS
- Make sure that the protective film between the battery and the cap is removed.
- Make sure the battery polarity (+/-) is correct.
- Replace with a battery with the correct spec (CR2 3V).
- Check the Power/Measurement button.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Warranty Period
GOLF BUDDY products come with a limited warranty against defects in materials
and workmanship when used under normal consumer use for a period of two (2
years (“Limited Warranty). The Limited Warranty begins to run from the date of
original retail purchase. GOLF BUDDY, at its sole and absolute discretion,
shall either () replace or repair the defective part(s) or the unit with a new
or reconditioned part(s), or (in) issue a credit for the parts or products
that are covered under the Limited Warranty.
Eligibility
This Limited Warranty is applicable only to the original authorized purchasers
who purchase the products for resale and or end users of the products. All
authorized distributors shnall provide its customers a copy or this Limited
warranty and communicate any and all waivers and limitations contained in this
Limited warranty. No unauthorized modifications to or unauthorized
representations made by distributors will be valid or honored. Ihe purchaser
must present the original purchase receipt showing the date of purchase, place
of purchase, and amount paid tor the product in question, at the Time a
warranty claim is filed. Ihe product must be in its original packaging along
with all associated accessories and instruction manuals.
Warranty Claim Procedures
o obtain warranty repair service, you must contact G0LFBUDDY technical support
at cs@goltbuddyglobal.com or Visit help-goltbuddyglobal.com and obtain a
Return Authorization Number. All returned products must be accompanied by an
original purchase receipt and the Return Authorization Number. Any products
that are returned without the requisite information shall be returned at the
purchaser s cost and expense.
Warranty Exclusions
Except against defects in material and workmanship and as expressly warranted
by GOLF BUDDY, GOLF BUDDY disclaims all warranties, express and implied,
applicable to products, including, Without limitation, any warranty of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and any warranty that any
products Is delivered free of claims of third parties by way of infringement
or the like. GOLF BUDDY disclaims all express and implied warranties
applicable. To products accessories and products which are not manufactured by
GOLF BUDDY. GOLF BUDDY further disclaims all warranties applicable to products
that are accepted by the purchaser but are subsequently damaged as a result of
the following events
- Product purchased through the internet, other e-commerce channels, or any distributor or retailer that obtained the product from a supplier or distributor not authorized by GOLFBUDDY.
- Any and all loss or damage to the product during transit Improper or non-recommended use, storage or handling of the product, use of product with non-GOLFBUDDY components such as USB cables or charges, misuse, operation at settings other than those recommended or specitied, non-compliance with instructions or guidelines set forth in the User’s Operation Manual.
- Modification or alteration of the Product in any manner, including but not limited to, removal or addition of any component or part by purchaser or unauthorized service provider, or any accidental or intentional damage to the product.
- Any loss of software, firmware, data information, memory data contained on any products returned to GOLF BUDDY for repair, or those modifications necessary due to a change in the GPS made by the U.S. government or any other governmental agencies.
- Use of product in contravention with the laws of any country.
Limitation of Warranty
GOLF BUDDY shall not, in any event, be liable for indirect, special, consequential or liquidated damages or penalties, including claims for lost revenue, profits or business opportunities, even it GOLF BUDDY had or should have had any knowledge, actual or constructive, of the possibility of such damages. GOLFBUDDY’s total liability for any claim arising hereunder shall not exceed the purchase price that purchaser paid for the product.
