Product Usage Instructions
Read before Use:
Before installing the Network Camera, please carefully read and follow the
instructions in the Quick Setup Guide to avoid any damage during assembly and
installation. This will also ensure that the product is used properly as
intended.
Packing Contents:
Verify that all contents received are complete according to the Package
Contents list.
Physical Description:
The camera has a front panel and various interfaces, including a LAN
10/100M adaptive Ethernet interface for connection with network devices and a
power interface for connecting the external power adapter.
SD Card Management:
The camera supports Micro SD cards. When inserting the SD card during
camera operation, it is recommended to reboot the camera. To check the SD card
status, go to the Foscam app and navigate to Settings > Device Status > Device
Status.
Add Device: Connection via the Foscam App:
To connect the camera to the Foscam app, scan the provided QR code to
download and install the app. Refer to the Quick Setup Guide for detailed
instructions.
Installation:
Refer to the Quick Setup Guide for installation instructions. Point the
camera at the desired location and use the provided to mount it. Note that the
connector ports at the end of the tail cable are not weather-resistant, so
ensure that rain or water will not reach them.
Waterproof Lid Installation Guide:
If mounting the camera outdoors, it is recommended to install the
waterproof lid. Follow these steps for installation:
- Thread the Ethernet cable through the top cover and then the waterproof connector.
- Place the provided rubber seal ring around the Ethernet cable between the top cover and the waterproof connector. If necessary, manually cut the rubber seal ring.
- Attach the rubber O-ring to the Ethernet port of the camera and plug the Ethernet cable into the port.
- Align the waterproof connector with the Ethernet port and twist it clockwise to tighten the two parts.
- Push the rubber seal ring into the waterproof connector and screw the top cover firmly into position to complete the installation.

PoE
The Network Camera is PoE-compliant, allowing transmission of power and data
via a single Ethernet cable. Such as the following picture: connect the
Network Camera to a PoE-enabled router / switch via Ethernet cable.

This camera supports a Micro SD Card. When you plug in the SD card during the
camera work process, please reboot the camera again, or else the

On the Foscam app go to the Settings Device Status page, and you can see the
SD card status.

Installation
Point the camera at the desired location and use the screws provided to mount it.
Please Note:
Ensure that rain or water will not reach the connector ports at the end of the
tail cable. These connectors are not weather-resistant.
Waterproof Lid Installation Guide
When mounting your PoE camera outdoors, you are suggested to install a waterproof lid for it. You may follow the steps for installation.
- Thread the Ethernet cable through the top cover and then the waterproof connector.
- Put the rubber seal ring around the Ethernet cable between the top cover and the waterproof connector.
- Note : The rubber seal ring provided has been cut. If not, you may manually cut it.
- Put on the rubber O-ring to the Ethernet port of the camera and plug the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port.
- Align the waterproof connector with the Ethernet port, then twist it clockwise to tighten the two parts.
- Push the rubber seal ring into the waterproof connector, then screw the top cover and lock it into position firmly to finish the installation.
