Product Information

The Stainless Steel Oval Sensor Trash Can (TT-SB38, TT-SB48, TT-SB58, TT-SB68) is a high-quality product distributed by TurboTronic. It is designed with advanced technologies and components for efficient and convenient waste disposal. The trash can comes with a two-year limited warranty, ensuring its durability and performance.

Features:

• Sensor Zone: The trash can has a sensor zone that detects objects and keeps the lid open until the object is removed.
• LED Indicator Light: The LED indicator light changes color to indicate the status of the lid. Green indicates that the lid is open, and red indicates that the lid will close in 6 seconds.
• Automatic Lid Closing: After removing your hand from the sensor zone, the lid will automatically close.
• Battery and AC Adapter Powered: The trash can can be powered by either 4 D-size batteries or an AC adapter (not included). It cannot be powered by both sources simultaneously.

Warranty:
The Stainless Steel Oval Sensor Trash Can comes with a two-year limited warranty. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care for 730 days from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase within Europe is required. TurboTronic will repair or replace any lid cover that fails due to such defects during the warranty period. Please note that the Can Body, Retainer Ring, and Battery Cover are not covered by this warranty.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Do not submerge the lid in water as it houses the electronic control. Clean it with a lightly dampened cloth.
2. Clean the trash can body only with products safe for use on stainless steel.
3. Do not press or force the Lid Cover to close. The lid will close automatically after your hand is removed from the sensor zone.
4. Replace batteries immediately when the indication light turns yellow/amber to ensure proper lid operation.
5. Avoid direct sunlight on the infrared sensor.
6. Ensure there is enough room to operate the trash can without blocking the opening and closing of the lid.
7. Do not use the power adapter and battery at the same time to operate the trash can. It can only be powered by one source at a time.
8. Take caution when using automatic parts around small children or pets.

Operating Instructions:

1. Remove the Lid Unit from the trash can.
2. Open the battery compartment cover and insert 4 D-size batteries. Replace the cover.
3. Insert a 13-gallon to 18-gallon trash bag through the Trash Bag Retainer Ring. Wrap the top part of the bag over the Ring (refer to STEP 1 in the How To Use The Trash Bag Retainer Ring section).
4. Put the Retainer Ring onto the top edge of the can body (refer to STEP 2 in the How To Use The Trash Bag Retainer Ring section).
5. Place the Lid Unit onto the can body and make sure it is securely attached.

About your cabin Trash Can

The touchless sensor operation promotes a germ-free environment. The lid sensor uses invisible and harmless, patented infrared technology for accurate and responsive lid open and closed operation. There are two buttons on the front of the lid, “OPEN” and “CLOSE”, to open and close the lid manually, and an ON/OFF power switch on the back of the trash can lid. The infrared sensor on the lid will automatically open the lid when your hand or object is within6 inchess/10 cm of the sensor. The lid will remain open if the sensor detects any object within its radius and will automatically close in 4 seconds after the object is withdrawn. Indicator Light (LED Light)

1. When there is an object in the Sensor Zone, the LED Indicator Light will remain green and the Lid will remain open until the object is removed from the sensor zone.
2. Once the item is removed from the Sensor Zone, the LED Indicator Light will flash red to indicate that the lid will close in 6 seconds.
3. If an object is placed back into the Sensor Zone when the LED Indicator Light is flashing red, the light will turn solid green again and the Lid will remain open.

Operating Instructions

1. Remove the Lid Unit from the trash can. Open the battery compartment cover to insert 4 “D” size batteries. Replace cover.
2. Insert one 13-gallon to 18-gallon trash bag through the Trash Bag Retainer Ring and wrap the top part of the bag over the Ring (STEP 1 in How To Use The Trash Bag Retainer Ring ). Put the Ring onto the top edge of the can body (STEP 2).
3. Place the Lid Unit onto the can body and make sure it is securely attached.
4. Turn on the power switch on the back of the Lid Unit. A red Indicator Light will turn on for 3 seconds. It will flash once every 3 seconds to indicate the system is on and ready to use.
5. Place your and or any object 6 inches above the Infrared Sensor on the front of the Lid Unit to open. When there is an object in the Sensor Zone, the LED Indicator Light will remain green and the Lid will remain open until the object is removed from the Sensor Zone. Once the item is removed from the Sensor Zone, the LED Indicator Light will flash red to indicate that the lid will close in 6 seconds. If an object is placed back into the Sensor Zone when the LED Indicator Light is flashing red, the light will turn solid green again and the Lid will remain open.
6. If you press the open button, Lid will open, and remain open for 5 minutes before closing automatically – unless you press the close button. The trash can will then resume operating in automatic mode.

How To Use The Trash Bag Retainer Ring

• STEP 1
  Place the trash bag inside the trash can, then wrap the top of the bag over the Ring.

• STEP 2
  Secure the Ring onto the edge of the can body.

How to Use the Odor Filter

if provided with your model Some models of the Touchless Trash Can are equipped with an Odor Filter Compartment that houses the odor-neutralizing Activated Carbon Odor Filter. One (1) replaceable Odor Filter is pre-installed inside the Odor Filter Compartment. Please follow these instructions to maximize the Odor Filter’s effectiveness.

1. Turn the power switch to “Off” mode. Remove and turn the Lid Cover upside down.
2. Slide the Odor Filter Compartment (Fig. 1) to the right (Fig.2) to remove.
3. Remove the Activated Carbon Odor Filter from the Compartment.
4. Remove the new Odor Filter pouch from the plastic bag (Do NOT cut open the Odor Filter pouch).
5. Insert the new Odor Filter pouch (Fig.3) into the Compartment.
6. Return the Odor Filter Compartment to the Lid Cover (Fig. 1) and slide to the left (Fig.2) to lock the Odor Filter Compartment in position.
7. Replace Othe dor Filter every 3 months or when the odor becomes too strong

General Troubleshooting Steps

1. Turn the power switch to “Off, remove the battery or AC power adapter, then rub and wipe clean the sensor area with a soft damp cloth and dry it immediately with a soft dry cloth. Re-insert batteries or plug in AC adapter (DO NOT USE battery and AC adapter at the same time).
2. Place the trash can in an open area where nothing is blocking or within 10 inches of the sensor eye. Make sure no sunlight or direct light shines on the sensor. Turn on the power and try opening the lid again.
3. If the trash can is still not working correctly, remove the batteries or AC adapter. Let the trash can sit for at least 2 hours to reset. Try opening the lid after resetting.

Troubleshooting

•          Turn the power switch to the “ON” position to see if the indication light is visible If you are using AC Power Adapter:

•           Unplug the adapter and insert new alkaline batteries to see if the lid works on the battery

•           If the lid works with batteries, the AC adapter may be broken

5. I wave my hand over the sensor eye, but the lid does not open| It is not a motion sensor. Hold your hand or object steadily (do not wave your hand) within 4-6 inches over the sensor eye for it to detect and open.

Two (2) Year Limited Warranty

Oval Sensor Trash Can is distributed by TurboTronic with the highest quality components and most advanced technologies available. The trash can is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship, given normal use and care, for 730 days from the date of the original purchase with proof of purchase within Europe. TurboTronic will only honor warranty requests from orders placed with our authorized dealers. Items sold as used, floor sample, or refinished are sold solely under the terms and conditions of the selling party TurboTronic will not warrant such purchase. TurboTronic will repair or replace a working condition Lid Cover thereof which fails as the result of such a defect during the warranty period.

The warranty is the customer’s exclusive remedy for product defects and does not apply to:

• User modification
• Attachments to the product by the  user that causes damage
• Any product, on which the seals and/or serial numbers have been broken, removed, tampered with, defaced,d or altered in any manner
• Damage caused by abuse, misuse, accident, water or theft

The Can Body, Retainer Ring, and Battery Cover are not covered by this warranty.
